  I recently did business with RAC and had a fantastic experience. They completed a very thorough PPI for a 911. I was so impressed by the inspection (including detailed conversation going through the report), that after purchasing the vehicle I had them address several service items. They had excellent communication, upfront pricing and no surprises. They went above and beyond to help arrange transportation across the country for the same vehicle. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for Porsche service or sales in the Dallas area.

  Was able to schedule a PPI on a Porsche 911 with short notice. Very in depth inspection and explanation of each individual note. Highly knowledgeable and great customer service.

  Overall a fantastic experience buying a car and my dream Porsche at that. John is a friendly guy, a straight shooter, and respected my time and answered every question I had on top of providing additional Porsche wisdom during the process and after closing. Michael was also great with his availablility and supporting John with my questions and made paperwork a smooth process with no curveballs. I had a very specific timing need to close on my car before leaving for an international trip and they were prepared to make it happen. On pickup day, I got to meet Solomon who made me feel welcome and was great conversation while my car was receiving its final touches. They have an excellent process here from start to finish and have earned me as a future customer.

  RAC provided a far above excellent experience in purchasing a car from out of state. If there were more than 5 stars available I would rate them as such.
  
  I should begin this review by mentioning that I have never had a car purchasing experience remotely from out of state, which only makes sense for someone purchasing what most people would consider a very expensive used car, in my case a specific Porsche model and year.
  I live far away from the state of Texas and had identified a car that I was going to purchase near the city of Dallas and the sale was pending on the results of a pre-purchase inspection (PPI), which is STRONGLY recommended for expensive cars.
  I searched for Porsche dealerships in that area and found they did not provide a PPI service and then looked for independent Porsche repair shops. RAC was recommended by one person I contacted. So I called them and talked to Solomon, the RAC Service Manager. They offered the service at a higher cost than a couple of other independents that I talked to. My conversation with Solomon immediately made me feel comfortable that he knew several common problems with the specific year I was going to have PPI’d and also described in detail the tests they put each car through during that inspection. He also described that all the cars that RAC sell, as a used Porsche dealership, go through the same inspection and serious problems are fixed before putting the vehicles up for sale and the cars are meticulously cleaned before presenting for sale. He was very sincere when explaining this, I have to emphasize this because it respects an importance of the customer. Needless to say, the car I brought in failed miserably with pictures and a report within the same day. Costs to me as a buyer that would cost me at least 20-30K to fix. I explored RAC's website and inventory and found the most amazing car that was exactly what I was looking for! EXACTLY!!
  The confidence I had in Solomon the Service Manager was matched by Michael the Sales Manager in completing the purchase, making every detail of the purchase, communicated to me in a very timely fashion. I now own the car of my dreams and of such high quality that I would never question the asking prices you see at RAC. They are meticulous in what they sell so the asking price reflects that. Given my experience, this is what you pay for when purchasing a car from RAC!
  I should also mention that they were very particular in selecting a carrier for shipping to my residence and would only pick a carrier they had had positive experiences with in the past. They were right about that! GO RAC!!!

  I recently had my 2001 Porsche Boxster serviced at RAC Performance after dealing with persistent issues that had stumped me for quite a while. Solomon and his team were professional, transparent, and incredibly communicative throughout the process — sending photos, updates, and explanations at every step.
  
  Their diagnostics were spot on, and when they said the car would pass state inspection, they meant it — I got my sticker this morning. The pricing was more than fair, especially considering the level of expertise and care they bring to Porsche service.
  
  RAC is a family-owned business that clearly believes in earning customers for life. They take the time to explain things, they’re honest, and they don’t upsell or mislead. I’m very pleased with my experience and plan to work exclusively with RAC going forward.

  I shopped pretty hard for another 911 and it’s pretty hard to find one maintained properly, in great cosmetic condition, with the right options, and priced accordingly. I think it is exceptional when the dealer also has a top-notch Porsche dedicated service side and decades of family Porsche experience to guide you into the right car for your needs. I’ve done business with sales and service at RAC Performance and can tell you it’s the perfect blend for me. ‘Brought to my attention by their support of PCA, I can vouch that they are the real deal. Only the best cars are on sale here, often sold a second time thru repeat business, and the service is better than the “big dealers” because of the true integration with sales and service, including for non-spec upgrades like for track prepping or to get that sound 911 owners are looking for. RAC has a long history with the Porsche community extending way beyond Dallas. I’m on my 39th car with this purchase and it’s not unusual for me to have a touch of regret later. Not this time! ‘Couldn’t be happier. I almost never do customer surveys or post my thoughts. But, RAC Performance deserves it! You, my fellow car guys, need to add RAC to your usual car stalking sites and drop by like I did.

  I looked around comparing service shops for my 911 4S. By far RAC Performance is the best. Clean repair shop, top notch mechanics (their GM Solomon, knows how to fix those little quirks that sometimes come up). I did my homework evaluating service shops in the metroplex, don't look any further.
