The best daycare you can find. The teachers are very friendly and always smile. My children always want to go there.

July 11 – Clean, open, and nice facility! I love all the cameras for watching the rooms. As a parent, I would want to peek in on my child. *****We had a Ribbon Cutting for Rising Starz Childcare and the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce. We were honored to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Rising Starz Childcare, located near Jackson and Denton Drive. While new to the Chamber community, Rising Starz has been a cornerstone of the neighborhood for an impressive 19 years!
A heartfelt thank you to owners Julie and Davin Martinez for not only joining the Chamber but for providing nearly two decades of exceptional childcare. Your dedication and service have made a lasting impact on countless families.
We’re proud to support you and your continued success in the community!

My daughter, now 16, I use to bring her to this childcare. While doing my New Year's cleanup, I found an old bag they gave us, sparking fond memories of the good times she had here! ?

My son, who is 1 year old, has been coming to this daycare since he was 3 months old, and we absolutely love it here! I say “we” because he always has a smile on his face when we walk in and when I pick him up. The staff (every single woman I have met and had interactions with) has been amazing. They always greet us with smiles and have went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I was so nervous leaving my baby somewhere, but I feel like I can totally trust this establishment to take care of him while I’m not there. It’s so important to feel comfortable and worry-free with other people taking care of your child, and I have that with Rising Starz. He just transferred from the “infant room” and the ladies in that room were AMAZING! I could tell they genuinely love and care about my son which is such a wonderful feeling. The staff here really is top tier. I have nothing negative to say at all. I definitely recommend Rising Starz for your childcare needs!

Don't do it don't do it! There's so much wrong with this place! For one Yolanda in the baby room is horrible! She gave me the hardest time with breastfeeding and was mean to me the whole time I worked there. She makes fun of moms who can't produce enough milk and always has something negative to say. Jennifer at the front loves to call people's biracial kids mixed and when corrected still did it. Julie lies about a lot! She put my 17 month old in the two year old room with a three year old then had her daughter lie to a mentor about the age gap. She also told me a problem child had been removed from the school but in fact he was back the next week making me uneasy about leaving my kid in the class. She lets her special needs daughter enter the classes and that person put one of my students in time out and has popped a child before. She picks and chooses which families she wants to deal with and which employees she loves and hates. They are not good for black children. They didn't even want to bring up black history month until I brought it to their attention and then it was the bare minimum. Yet then had me asking parents what nationality they would put on paperwork for their kids. They pick and choose who can come back early from being sick and who has to stay out. They don't care for their employees they act like it in front of the parents but yet we all were mentally drained from that place. The teachers they've been hiring have been drunks or quit because of them being racist. The people in the front take many smoke breaks. You can find Jennifer walking the alley next door to smoke. The baby room likes to put the crawlers and almost walkers in pack n plays for hours at a time. They also put the babies they don't like in high chairs for hours. They parted ways with me because I'm outspoken and didn't like half the things there. I continued to work there because I needed something for my kids but I'm so glad I'm gone. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Have had my girls here almost a year and it was the scariest thing to have my toddler in daycare because of all the horror stories you hear about daycares, but thankfully Rising Starz has been an amazing place for my daughters. They always have great things to say about EVERYONE that works there. I have never heard anything negative about anyone that works there. They get upset when I pick them up “early” because they love being there. My 3 year old has learned so much while being there from counting to learning her colors to singing, it’s been amazing to see! Thank you Rising Starz for having so much love for the kids!

Worst daycare that I have seen. I have reported this school because they are misusing child care. They send your children home twice a week for any stupid reason. Then on top of that, their not allowed back u til 72 hours with an doctor’s note… (all because they know they still get paid even if your children are there or not) they say your child has a fever but their using in 1st safety thermometer (which is only used for newborns), which is not accurate for older toddlers!!!! They trained their teachers to be just like the owner, nothing but beaters. And for the lady Kelsey that meet u at the door, I can’t stand her, she tells lies all the time and make promises that never will get taken care of! I repeat don’t not take your children to this place!!!!! Please take your children to another center. Bad center!!!! Bad center!!!!! I repeat don’t leave your children there!!!!! This center need to be closed down!!! I put my 2 wk notice in to Kelsey verbally and they also sent me an email saying my care will be ending that Friday (without getting me the full two weeks notice)!!! Look like I stepped on someone toes about putting my notice in!l cause of the damn truth!!

We've been at this center for about a year, and it has been wonderful to see our daughter grow and learn! Everyone we've interacted with, from directors to teachers have been wonderful, and seem to legitimately enjoy working here.My wife came from an ECE (Early Childhood Education) background and has worked several places as a teacher, curriculum planner, and as assistant director and as such has fairly strong awareness about centers and what to watch out for - she has been consistently blown away by the interactions with staff, state of the school, and the classrooms. As for our daughter, after her first week of getting over being 'away from mommy and daddy', she started getting VERY excited about going to school - since then, we've watched her grow into a clever and curious little girl and this center is a big part of that! She comes home talking about her friends, her tumble class (which is an extra service that can be added, provided by Coach Ty), the butterflies in the garden, and all the art and activities they do! We get photos of the activities in the app, updates on what she's learning, and she bring home fun art projects just about weekly.Overall, this center has clearly contributed very positively to her growth, and we look forward to being here for years to come!

As someone with a degree in Early Childhood Education AND years of work experience at several local providers, I'm thrilled I found them. I toured all of the local options when choosing a center and was extremely cautious given my experience with how vastly different education centers can be ran. I'm pleased to say that a year later I'm still thrilled with my choice to bring my daughter here morr than ever. She wakes up every morning asking "is it school time mommy?" And comes home with "I love my teachers". The indoor gym has been a life saver for my worry about the TX heat and in this now 2 month long heat wave this small factor has turned into a huge benefit. Their health policies may appear strict to some but having been an assistant director before I deeply understand having to balance specific accommodations and the safety of the majority. They have been nothing but awesome and if I have had any questions they have been thorough and extremely transparent in their explanations. I love them and am happy to have them as part of my team in taking care of my kid. Thanks y'all for being amazing ?

One of the BEST childcare centers in Carrollton!! The Teachers are loving and go above and beyond to meet the needs of all of the children in their classes. The office staff Ms.Jennifer and the owner Ms. Julie are very professional, helpful and always willing to assist the families/ the children however they can. If you are in need of a childcare center that provides a loving, and caring environment that makes learning easy for your child this is the place for you!!

I wish I could rate the teachers separately, but i cant so im highly disappointed in this school. i only picked them because they have it where they tend to kids with special needs. this is not 100% my son has down syndrome his teachers where wonderful. The management is who i had an issue with Jennifer is the main person. Any time i brought up what was needed for my son to accommodate him and make sure he was comfy she shut it down. fast forward to today 8/4/22. i sent them an email to let them know i would be looking for a new day care because how i was being treated i didnt like and Julie took it upon her self to reach out to Child Care Group to tell them that my last day of care was today even though the signed paperwork states to withdraw your child a 2week notice is required. when i confronted her about it she tells me " she didn't mean any disrespect by it but she notified them to make it an easier transition for my family" .Not only was she not thinking about my family is i didnt have the option to work from home when needed i would loose my job because of her because i was not allowed the proper time to look for new care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE IF YOU ARE ON ASSISTANCE THEY ARE GOING TO TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH!!!!!!!

I loved this daycare BUT they really didn’t communicate about other kids being sick the last time my daughter was there was a couple of months ago she had pink eye in both eyes I didn’t get an email or call nothing about the cases until I called. I understand there’s rules on how to communicate about kids getting sick but when it’s a common thing she’s getting sick Everytime she went back I didn’t like that they have been great to me and my daughter as a single mother but that just put the pen to the needle with my baby being in the hospital because of pink eye got so bad. Mind you they had multiple cases and didn’t notify me when I call mostly everyday since I work 12hr shifts. She hasn’t been back since honestly.
