Independant pharmacies are so much more than big box pharmacies. They show a level of care and compassion regardless of what you may get filled and pass no judgement. It's nice to go in and be greeted and not judged.

Every time I call to see when my monthly prescription can be picked up, they are most gracious and tell me to swing by in 2-3 hours. They Always have great customer service at their handy Drive-through Window, and we usually visit for a few minutes during the pickup. The best definition for Trinity Pharmacy is “dependable!”

Wound not recommend getting my kids vaccinated here. The lady giving the vaccines was wearing gloves while at the register and while walking around and touching stuff. Another lady handed her the vaccines where she took them, wearing the same gloves she had been touching everything with, to the area where the vaccines were being given. I watched her for a second and then asked if she was fixing to draw them up and she said yes. She never once took the gloves off or anything prior to touching the syringes. I told her she needed to change her gloves prior to getting them ready as she wasn’t going to give them to my son with contamination of the vaccines or her hands. She then proceeded to tell me the gloves were for her safety and that she wasn’t required to wear gloves when preparing the vaccines. I expressed that she was required to prepare them with sanitized clean hands. Just no care for the safety of others. Thank goodness I caught her before she prepared and gave those to my kiddo.

This is more accurately a “zero star” review. I don’t say this emotionally or with malice, simply as a precaution for any other new parents without insurance looking for a place to get immunizations for their infant/toddler.
While it is admirable they are making an effort to participate in the Texas Vaccines for Children program, it is so poorly executed that I will strongly advise you go to your local Health Department or any other place in the state that participates.
I will summarize in bullet points:
• EXPECT A LONG WAIT: Though you can call and make an appointment, expect to be at Trinity Pharmacy for an average of 1.5-2 hours (max 3). I arrived at 11:53am for a 12pm appointment, and I was called back at 12:54pm. {Optional read about my personal experience: When I realized the appointment would not started at the scheduled time, I told them I would simply reschedule for a new time when I would be able to come a bit more prepared for a long wait. The administer of the vaccines asked me if I “saw how this works” which made me giggle at first because I was truly shocked she was reprimanding me for letting her know we would reschedule. I said that I wasn’t sure what she meant by that question, and she told me that she first checks out everyone in the waiting area, then calls them back one by one to administer vaccinations. I was still very confused as that would help me understand *when* I’d be called back. She did begin checking us out at the point, which did make me wonder what we were waiting for (but, perhaps they need to do a bunch of paperwork for everyone prior to calling us back). Then after checking out the remaining people in the waiting area, she called us back. Since you can easily see the area where they administer vaccines, I knew during the whole we were waiting, there was no one else receding vaccines.
• EXPECT A NEED TO MAKE MULTIPLE VISITS DUE TO INVENTORY ISSUES: The lack of inventory is not the pharmacy’s fault as far as I can tell, so they cannot be blamed for this. However, knowing the difficulty of waiting in a non-baby proofed environment with a baby for an unexpectedly long amount of time, I was surprised I was not notified prior to my appointment that my child would only receive 1 of the 3 vaccines. Had I known this, I would have preferred to reschedule until all vaccines were available. If you are a working parent, call ahead and make sure they have the vaccinations in stock prior to making the trip.
• FOR INFANTS/TODDLERS, THE SPACE IS NOT IDEAL: While this is not a requirement they need to fulfill by any means, it again is simply another nail in the coffin of being there for an unexpectedly long wait time. There is very little seating, so be prepared to stand and hold your infant/toddler while waiting. Beware of many breakable items within reach of a toddler, as well as many things to put in their mouths! Strollers would be ideal to keep child contained while waiting.
• GO ON A DAY WHERE NAPS ARE FLEXIBLE AND YOU HAVE NO OTHER PLANS: Due to the long wait, pack your child’s meal and/or snack and be emotionally prepared if a nap is skipped and your child gets frustrated. You are unable to wait outside since they call you by calling out your name into the waiting area.
Hopefully they are able to improve this program down the road, as I do think it could be a great benefit to many families and children. Until they do so, again, I STRONGLY recommend to go somewhere else with your infants and toddlers for vaccinations, OR to be extremely prepared based on my notes above! Hope this helps someone out!

Called and was informed that they have the meds I need in warehouse or system showing 5 boxes for my diabetes yet since my insurance is not paying the cost that they want there is a $100 for a month supply fee for me to pay. BUT they can not charge me the $100 so they can’t fill the prescription. This is my life and not a weight loss issue. Because you are holding the medication since you know it is a big demand and you want ransom for it. How is this happening to the people that need meds for diabetes. Why are their lives placed on hold in no regards to what is needed to save their lives.

This pharmacy is really great. They actually take time to help and make sure to keep you informed about your prescriptions. Switched from cvs and have been happy about it since day one. Also, they do have a drive-through, which I did not notice for a while.

Small business Pharmacy.
They take care of their customers and they have better prices than big chain Pharmacy's. We just moved to Carrollton and was looking for a particular probiotic I have to take daily and they have it but it was a bit high priced for it and I found it at another small pharmacy for a better price. I don't know about the price of the other products they have so you might call and see what they can do for you.

The organization's attention is terrible, the people are not cordial, they do not treat them with respect, they shout and threaten to call the police if there is no silence, like children they can remain silent after hours of waiting! There is no consideration for waiting children, there is only one nurse who gives you the vaccines and more than 200 people arrive daily to be vaccinated.
