I was lucky enough to meet Uhaul Store Manager Phillip Henderson today at the Carrollton Texas Uhaul facility.
The store as you can see in my photos is well stocked, displayed, organized and has every imaginable moving need!
Phillip was courteous, friendly and knew exactly what I needed, made the recommendation, told me how to install it and use it, rang it up and I was out the door in a flash.
He said he hoped to see me again if the need arises and even told me about the propane deals they offer!
If you’re looking to rent a storage unit, they have a mockup unit in their lobby so you can see exactly how big the units are.
The store is a little inconvenient to where I’m staying but I would drive the extra distance knowing I will be well taken care of!

Went to the store today to purchase moving supplies. I play cash for everything I buy. Today the manager said that today that cannot take cash because she does not have the cash drawer key. She gave it to an employee who did not come into work today. How do you run a freaking business properly like like this? The last time I came Here the same manager couldn’t take cash that day either. Luckily, I had the exact cash. TERRIBLY RUN STORE. I’D GET RID OF THIS MANAGER. IT WAS A SHORT HISPANIC WOMAN WITH GLASSES.

Trucks are never detail cleaned. Gas is ALWAYS LESS than what they show you in their system. They force you to download the app to make the change rather than them making the change at the counter. For the SECOND Time, the airbag showed "AIRBAG FAULTY" when I started driving. The FRONT Tire Pressure was 62 psi on the driver's side and 80 psi on the passenger side. Back two were at 72 and 79. They advertise but they never tell you how to get the "FREE" one month storage. Two front desk clerks told me that they would call me on the availability of the storage unit size but neither called me for 2 days. That's false advertising and laziness and lack of care for the customer that is not at all appreciated.

Incredibly ghetto location and will price gouge you if you return a few hours late (even if both return times are after hours and the location is closed for the night).

The person receiving the drop off of the rental equipment was extremely rude and foul mouthed. He was angry and being demeaning about a tire strap that had broken on the trailer we used for transporting our car. This breakage wasn’t our fault, but we still agreed to pay the damage fee as soon as he pointed at the damaged strap. However, this individual ridiculed us saying we didn’t know how to unstrap the car and accused us of cutting it loose. He kept going around the trailer and the truck and screaming all the fees he is going to charge us, like it was some power move. Extremely unprofessional to say the least.

Hands down BEST service! Every time excellent customer service today we Spoke with Adam over the phone and he made our reservation so quick and professional! We live in Dallas and have to drive all the time to this location due to their professionalism!!

Never!, rent a u-haul truck from this location, they are very irresponsible staff there. Yesterday, someone else made reservation under my name and they gave the truck to that person without checking the ID. I call 5 times and I went in person they didn’t do anything, AM was saying they can’t do nothing unless that truck come back, I don’t know how they registered the truck under 2 names. I was so stressed about it and they didnt care. Very shameful and disgusting location. After all these issues I received the contract for U-haul truck under my name still they didn’t do anything. Very disrespectful staff, I complaint to the corporate office I hope they take some action against the head of this location. Baddest experience in my entire life

I had the worst experience with this location, it was supposed to be an easy rental for a single day. A lady named Mika or some sort of spelling similarly, she had a very hostile additude from the point of pick up to the point of drop off they also falsely adjusted my drop off time to be able to charge me an extra day and they also adjusted my .69 rate per mile to .89 per mile. I am very disappointed with this location, in the future I will use a completely different location due to the stress inflicted on a senor citizen. I have reached corporate on this mistake and actions made by the lady at this location
