I was in the store on 2/11/25 and the lady named Renita checked me out. She was so rude and just plain hateful. I understand everybody has a bad day every once in a while but she was over the top. I asked about a certain candy and she was like” have you checked the candy isle “? in such a hateful tone of voice. I found the candy on the bottom shelf up by the counter. Finding the candy I also found a huge spider in the box. I killed it and handy the box to Renita. I had gotten all the candy out of the box so it was empty except the dead insect. She jerked the box out of my hand and rolled her eyes at me. I made my purchase and had a twenty dollar bill and my credit card in my hand. I asked if I could get two tens for the twenty. She grabbed the twenty out of my hand and said” no I don’t have it” My purchase was $34 dollars . I took the twenty and used my credit card. On the screen it offered me cash back. I requested $10 back. I asked her was this possible ? She took a really hard deep breath and practically growled. I paid the $1.50 extra for that $10 back. It was offered so I took the opportunity. As I was leaving another employee was smoking outside the front door so I asked her about the manager’s name. She said you were just dealing with her… Sadly I will not be using this store as long as Reno’s is employed there.

I love the customer service we get during the day over at the Family Dollar in Carthage Texas. Stores shelfs are a little messy but all in all a great little store.
