Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa is a beautiful and spacious retreat located just outside of Austin, set in a lovely acreage filled with deer, armadillos, and a petting zoo. The resort offers well-maintained facilities and comfortable rooms, some with upgraded suites near the elevator, which helps guests avoid long hallways and enjoy a quiet, peaceful stay. The hotel features a variety of activities, making it ideal for families, meetings, or conferences. Guests appreciate the many extra activities available, such as walks along the lake, fire pits, s'mores, and the scenic drive to the resort. The resort’s dining options include Mavericks and Stories restaurant, with food generally rated as good, though some reviews mention minor issues like a hair in a meal or communication problems. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive, with many guests praising their excellent customer service, especially during special occasions like weddings, where staff go above and beyond. The spa is highly recommended, offering treatments for an extra charge, along with free access to the pool, sauna, and steam room, making it a must-visit for relaxation. Despite its many strengths, some guests noted minor inconveniences such as slow elevators, mosquitoes in October, and occasional communication issues. The outdoor environment can be hot and humid, so visitors should come prepared. The location is remote, which can make downtown trips challenging, and some Ubers may not pick up nearby. Overall, Hyatt Lost Pines is praised for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and the warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes it feel like a home away from home, perfect for both leisure and business stays.

The lazy river is absolutely amazing! I have stayed at this hotel several times with my bestie and we have had a blast every time. We love the lazy river where you can grab some drinks. We had s’mores by the campfire and love just enjoying the property.

The place is awesome and could be so amazing, but the three times I’ve been I’ve never received good service at the Maverick. Sitting at the maverick, I am talking waiting 15 to 20 minutes on getting waters to the table.
