Trash location. Supposed to be open at 10 am. Currently sitting in front of the store at 10:30 and it’s not open. Terrible customer service. I’ll drive to Arlington from now on.

This particular location is terrible. The associates always seem upset to be at work. They arent helpful at all. They NEVER have what I need. And they often give excuses as to why they dont have something. Even though all the other GNC stores have it. And so does Vitamin shoppe! Guess I will just shop there!

It’s 5:45 I have been at the store since 5:30 I saw another customer walk up and check the door it was locked. I waited to see if an employee was on a bathroom break or had just stepped out the door is still locked horrible the store doesn’t close till 8 how do you even make money at the location with a locked door.

This is the 2nd time I run across the same problem with the guy that's working @ this Cedar Hill GNC location. I went in today 4/20/19 at about 12:45pm so I'm sure with that info GNC is able to pull the guy's name I'm referring to. Didn't get his name, no name tag. Caucasian male, looks to be in his mid 30's. I've left both times without purchasing. Both times I've came in, I go to a specific brand and he hovers over me telling me how bad it is etc and tries to direct me to a GNC brand. He is over excessively pushy. He tried to tell me that at each GNC, the employees direct the customers to the best brands. I work in the North Dallas area so I'm very familiar with visiting different GNC stores. Every other GNC stores I've went to, the employees are kind and ask me if I need assistance. I already know what I want going in so I always kindly decline assistance and they inform me to let them know if I do end up needing help finding something etc. They do not hover over me. The brand I buy, the guy at Cedar Hill kept throwing “scientific†facts at me, saying how unhealthy it is. How it's just an overload of sugar, etc etc. So if that's the case, I don't know why it's being sold at a GNC in the first place. But anyways, that's besides the point. The first time I encountered a problem with him, I was not interested in hearing as to why he thinks I shouldn't buy certain brands, especially considering he doesn't know my health lifestyle. He then told me “maybe it's best for you to shop online because I can tell that you don't give a jack about what I have to say.†Correct, I didn't care what he had to say. I didn't ask for his help or input. I go into GNC stores each time, politely decline assistance, go straight to gather/purchase my items and leave. What a shame because I live in duncanville so the Cedar Hill GNC location is super convenient/close to home (10min drive). Now I have to search for the 2nd closest GNC location closer to me because I will no longer return to the Cedar Hill location, at least not for as long as that guy is employed there. The brand I have been purchasing that he claims is so “unhealthy†and full of nothing but sugar ... I've done my research and I as well as my cousin (who is a fitness instructor/nutritionist) have been consuming this particular brand for years. When I started consuming this brand + fitting in an active workout schedule, I lost 30lbs and have gained muscle mass within 4 months of less. Before this guy @ GNC tries to harass the customers etc, he needs to first look the part bc he is on the overweight scale.
