Personalized and quick service. Paid for it but it was justified. Work was fine. Five stars because of the staff.

I am so disappointed in the treatment from grown man!!! A customer pulls up to get her oil changed so I assume someone will take care of the service. I pull in and ask if there is time for an oil change and one gentleman said yes pull it up as he's blowing leaves of the side walk. The same guy says oh go ahead and pull it into the garage, as I do what he asked .. he then says poopthe hood... Im sorry is this not their job to do these things for customers? I guess not because he rudely told me it's not his job to do all these things that he asked of meAfter a couple of disrespectful comments they made I got in my car and left to take my service someone else.

I don't like them. They think bc you are a woman they can do stuff to your car & charge you without asking. They said they fixed something and didn't & would not give me my money back. ?☹️?I don't recommend them, be careful.

They don’t deserve a star! I made a big mistake about getting a tune up here! My car is running worst than after a $800 tune up that they diagnosis! My check engine light is still on after taking my car back under parts and labor warranty 4x. Now I don’t even trust them, with a warranty. When something like this happens it’s just better to go somewhere else! Trust me don’t waste your money! Not even on Groupon Oil Change!

On August 18, 2023, the "professionals" at this Kwik Kar location installed the incorrect size battery in my vehicle, which resulted in the a/c and horn malfunctioning within a week of the installation due to improper voltage and power. I took the vehicle to be checked out at the dealer and was then informed of the incorrect/insufficient battery size and advised by the dealer to return the battery. My vehicle manufacturer recommends 27 group and not the 24 group Kwik Kar of Cedar Hill installed. When I returned the battery on August 28, 2023, Quincy, the store manager angrily and rudely stated they could not return it - - despite the Kwik Kar receipt clearly stating any issues with workmanship should be reported to the manager for a refund. The manager and alleged "regional manager," who called himself Tony, alleged no batteries could ever be returned because they are electrical, which makes zero sense as am batteries are warrantied! When I mentioned a no return policy is nowhere in writing on the receipt or visible within the store, he said "well everyone knows that's the battery policy!" Another employee said the battery could be returned but I waited too late (10 days from purchase). The inconsistencies and lies were obvious. Several other Kwik Kar owners that I contacted (both corporate and franchises) stated it is very customary to take batteries back and they do it ALL THE TIME -- especially if the incorrect size was installed. Tony, who refused to let me speak with the owner, stated the 24 and 27 batteries are basically the same. I told him I get to decide what size battery I want in my car and I requested the manufacturer recommended size. He continued to argue with me and basically said he was not returning the 10 day old battery that his staff installed without my knowledge.Bottomline: The front office staff is rude, bullies and gives women a hard time, while intentionally blocking the customer from contacting the owner, who surely has no idea how badly the staff behaves with customers. Rest assured, I will never return to this low budget operation. They also stole my battery kill switch and kept my core without my permission. A police report was been filed for the theft.

Do NOT take your car here! If i could give them a NEGATIVE 5 star rating I would. I experienced the most horrible customer service in my ENTIRE life, and was charged erroneously for services and parts that were never rendered just to get my car back after chosing to deny services due to bogus charges and poor customer service. I feel completely disrespected, mishandled and taken advantage of by this place. DO NOT USE this place for ANY of your car needs. YOU will REGReT IT tremendously! I literally was concerned that they would damage my car on purpose after i denied services and it could lead to possible harm to myself or my family. Their behavior was not at all kind,or cordial and seemed to be very malicious and vengeful since i refused services they hung up on me and then someone else called me back telling me I was gonna have to pay $150 to get my car back. I will be looking to contact the owners and/or corporate to report this issue, and will also let everyone I know NOT to USE this place of business for any work on your CAR until they do some remedial training on customer service, proper telephone etiquite, protocol and good business ethics. As a customer I have the right to refuse services, and not be charged erroneously. My receipt reflects a charge for parts that i never recieved. I will be taking this issue up with the higher echeclon. Until these types of incidences no longer occur, and they are not robbing the community dont use this place. I definitely should have read the reviews and not chose it simply because its located so conveniently between 2 parts stores.I strongly advise DO NOT TaKe your car THeRE. You will regret it.

This is absolutely the worst oil change business I have dealt with in my 40 years of driving. They left the oil plug out of the oil pan and called me after 10 minutes to stay parked 5 miles away. My car had already begun to make noises and lose power. When I stopped I took photos of the oil plug missing and the oil so low it didn't show up on the dipstick. Their mechanic refilled the oil and put the plug in but refused to cover diagnosis on the engine. Their manager Jake stated the car was fine and refused to take any ownership to addressing the problem. The worst part is they attempted to just clear the check engine code and then state that had fixed the problem When we told them we wanted to have a mechanic look at the problem and diagnose what was really wrong, they refused to cover and said we would have to take them to court. Let the buyer beware!Service: Oil change

Usually pretty great exp. Only one time where they forgot to compete the oil change and I had to go back. But they accommodated without charge. Usually friendly guys!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I took my husband's car back in May due to needing an oil change and previously going there. They did the typical full synthetic oil change with the a/c and wiper fluid inspection. They did not tell me the car had any issues. After driving off the lot I head home, then to the hospital. The car barely made it to the hospital and began to smoke and knock. The vehicle said to shut off the vehicle immediately because it didn't have any oil. I called them and they sent a mechanic over. He said that the plug was most likely not all the way in and thats why it emptied all the oil and put silicone on it. Why didn't they tell me? Well he puts more oil in and it leaks it again. I had to leave my appointment early because of this. After an hour he said it was fine and I would have zero issues. I head home immediately and not even 4 hours later, it leaked all the oil in our driveway again! We had to have it towed to them. They tried saying that it was a bad gasket , then they said that a wire pinched the seal. The next day it was still leaking oil but they said it was fine it was residue and it was power steering fluid instead. Our Camaro would not go over 60 miles anymore and the oil pressure was all over the place. The car now sounded like a tractor. The a/c also stopped working and they told us we had a leak. We didn't have any leak before and they didn't say anything when they gave me the car back after they supposedly inspected it. We asked to speak to the owner, they said they were corporate owned and to call corporate. I do so the following day and corporate tells me that they are franchise and I need to speak to the owner but they needed to document who I spoke to since they were pretending to be corporate. I go back and ask to speak to the owner and they wouldn't give me any information and tried to put the blame on us. They said there wasn't any record of maintenance on the car online and it has 100,000 so that it's just an old car with a bad engine. I told them we had just done the maintenance and had a mechanic who could prove so and that the car had zero issues before the oil change. We went back because the car stalled 3 times and a few lights came on and the manager started to go off on me, it got to the point that a mechanic had to stop him. The mechanic told me the owner would make it right if the engine went bad but it wouldn't happen until about 5,000-10,000 miles. Fast-forward a month and the check engine light comes on and we take it to autozone who tells us that it could be over 10 issues regarding the engine but the engine is done for. My husband goes to talk to them and they tell him that they don't have the owners information. That when something happens the owner calls them, they don't call him. They have zero way of keeping in touch with him. We asked if we could at least have documentation of what happened and they said they couldn't do that either. Of course because they'd be admitting fault. I definitely do not recommend anyone going here. Unless you want them to kill your engine and have the manager smoke while he "fixes it". We spoke to different mechanics and the dealership regarding the issues and they could tell the car was done for just by the sound of it.Service: Oil change

On August 17, 2023, after a negative experience with Kwik Kar of Cedar Hill, I am writing this review to inform the community of my unpleasant experiences so that they can make an informed decision before doing business with them. I read reviews looking for real-life examples so that I am aware of the business practices concerning the people that I choose to do business with. Many of the reviews were good, so I was very surprised with my experience. Integrity is powerful and often can be an intangible component of influence in a small community. Good customer service is not only the result of what a business does right but also how they handle unpleasant experiences. What began as a good experience turned quickly into a bad one. Unfortunately, the manager Tony at Kwik Kar of Cedar Hill did not handle my issue professionally.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I only went for a turn signal bulb replacement. While I was there, a lady in the waiting area that was there for an oil change said, “Watch , they are going to come and tell me that I need something besides an oil change. Two minutes later, the guy came in and told her that she needed an air filter replaced and she told me she had just had an air filter replaced last week. So she told him never mind she didn’t want that. I watched as they removed my turn signal panel and I saw three lightbulbs. Two of them were lit and one was burned out. However, they told me that two were burned out. I don’t think that they knew that I was watching. When I checked out and they charged me for two, I mentioned it to them that I saw only one burned out, so the guy said that he would only charge me for one. Before they pulled my vehicle out, I saw them go under the hood and I opened the door and asked them why were they under the hood and he said that my vehicle wouldn’t start and that I may need a battery. I told them never mind because at this point I was getting ticked off. He then said that it was ok because he just charged it up. Sure he did. I had said in the past that I was not going to return to this Kwik Kar because every time I come they always say I need other things that I refuse to have only to find out that I didn’t need them. Against my better judgment, I came back again and this is what I got this time. I’m done with them!

They had a double gasket with my car and called me to pull it over so they could fix it. They didn’t even refund me for my oil change. They cleared the check engineLights that came up and refused to even see if the engine was okay. They just told me the next oil change is free. Why would i go back to a place that messed up my engine. Would give 0 stars if possible. I would go to any other place.Service: Oil change
