I wish I could leave 1 star review, it’s my first time donating to Plato’s and I did not know the process. Upon entering i wasn’t greeted, or told what to do. When I greeted the employees they just stared at me for a while before telling me to enter my number, no process , how long it would take or anything. I decided to take my clothes/ business elsewhere where. Especially after noticing that I was not greeted but they’ve greeted other customers upon entering the store. Google should let people leave 0 star reviews as I did not get to be serviced, and am unhappy leaving. Do better, train employees on the simplicity of customer service.

Okay I'm giving this place once again I really don't want to give them a start I came to this place they had me sitting outside and did not buy one thing I had brand new things with tags on them brand new tennis shoes name brand and did not buy anything every time I come here they do this and I have to go to another Plato's and this is the Cedar Hill location cedar Hill does that all the time now if you go to mesquite or Arlington they buy all the time this place is not good I'm surprised they're not closed down they don't have better selections to buy either in store this store is in Cedar Hill Texas once again

Went in on August 21st and it was awful. No employee said a word to me my whole time I was there. even during the checkout process. “Here you go” is the only thing that was said to me. I was in the store for an hour and a half shopping around, it took me so long because everything was out of place. As a girl who wears LARGES and extra LARGES you’d be very upset when you find something so cute in the large section only to find it be an extra small. The most disorganized Plato’s I’ve EVER been to. I even used to work in a thrift store and it was awful the way no clothes in the large section were even large? Might as well take the sizing signs down.
On top of nothing being in place, the things that I heard employees say were awful. Every single one of them sat behind the counters not even helping customers out, which a girl needed a lot of help cause I couldn’t find anything… they sat behind the counter for the WHOLE time I was there talking the utterly most crap about every single person. A girls friends even came in and they continued the crap talk on people. It shocks me how teenage girls can talk crap about people for so long on and on and never get tired of it? My heart physically hurts for the people they were talking about. They were saying the most downright innapropriate and rudest things too. About coworkers, people from their personal lives, everything. As someone who’s worked in retail a million times and was a teenage girl. I get it, we get frustrated with people in life and we wanna express our stories. But not in the middle of your shift. With 8 people in your store. Talking over the music. With your 6 coworkers who clearly aren’t doing their job either! I was straight up just uncomfortable in there and when I went to check out I thought the girl would atleast say hi. No she grabbed my close scanned them put them in the bag and just said “here you go” and then she continued to turn to her coworker and finish her crap talking story. Girls, be nicer in the world. it doesn’t cost anything. Took everything in me not to say it to them to their face!

they hardly take anything. clean clothes, not even a year old, some with still tags on them, and yet they “wear and tear” or whatever. my husband went early in the morning last week and there was a sign saying they were purchasing anything else for that day.. it was 10am. it’s crazy how they won’t take actually nice clothes, yet half of their inventory has wear and tear and stains.

The store has a good presentation but it is too expensive to be selling second hand stuff.
