Nicholas Zamudio is a definite asset to the R1 Cedar Hill branch. He was so patient, kind, and informative when I was trying to open a business account. He helped me over the course of several weeks make sure I knew what documents were needed and made sure I understood a lot of info I didn't know about related to business accounts. I told him he was an asset to my business team as well. R1 has always been THAT credit to help get you back on the right financial track and they seem to have the right people to help get you on track with business accounts in Nicholas Zamudio at Cedar Hill.

Trinity is amazing. She fixed a problem that card services and member services couldn’t fix. I spent over 2 hours trying to fix my Apple Pay yesterday. Trinity fixed the issue in 5 minutes. Very knowledgeable young lady.

Nicholas Zamudio helped me so much. I had been trying for several weeks to get on to the Resource 1app- in less than 20 minutes I was set up and banking on the app! He even explained several features of the app to me. I’m thrilled! Thank you so much!

We had the pleasure of visiting Resource One Credit Union with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. As we entered the parking lot, we noticed three handicapped parking spaces in front of the bank. Upon walking into the bank, we noticed the handicapped accessible entrance. We had a brief wait in line as we waited to see a teller. Once with a bank teller, our transaction was quick, and the employee was very professional. Resource One handles our shared banking needs, and we recommend Resource One Credit Union."Our Purpose Is Your Blessing"

First time home buyer and I’m having the worst experience with the Mortgage Loan Officer. As a consumer I want to lock my interest rate as soon a possible. I’ve had to call multiple times to inquire about when my rate would be locked to get different answers. If I wasn’t so close to closing I would definitely choose another lender. I’m pissed because now the interest rate is higher and I knew this would happen.

I have been a member for many, many years and I have to say, R1CU hit it out of the park when they hired Miguel Duran. He is patient, kind, and willing to help with anything needed. I recently needed to move funds from another credit union and had no idea how I could make it happen quickly. He listened, then started working through different options that not only fit my schedule, but my budget also. I know he is always a call away and ready to give me options! People love options that work for them! Thank you Miguel for being there when I have needed it, and ALWAYS looking out for what is best for me! You have saved me once again and are a TRUE life saver! I’ve had different banks and credit unions in the past and I can say that the service and assistance has been better at resource one than I’ve had in past institutions (perhaps it’s because I’m getting older). The staff at Cedar Hill is friendly and willing to share information that will affect my accounts, and is always willing to give advice on accounts types and services that will be beneficial to my family. Both my mother and I have switched to resource one for our auto loans and satisfied with how much money we are saving.

Excellent first-class service received from the staff to the branch managers. Even when I don’t get the follow up and follow through from the corporate office, this team always own my case and expeditiously own my issues, resolve them, and do so with a very professional and positive attitude. I wish more financial institutions exhibited the top tier customer relations that they execute.

there commercial division is awful. I've been doing business with this bank for 16yrs and once Erik Hargrove left its really gone downhill. This bank is so unprofessional the number listed on there website for commercial it's set up. they don't return phone calls to interested parties wanting to do business with them. they have harmed my business by their behavior. RUN AWAY from this bank!!!!

LONG POST ALERT - It is true that the Cedar Hill location renders poor customer service. I recently visited on 3/11/2023 regarding a return check charge placed on my account in the amount of $35.00 for a $14.68 I received in the mail from a 3rd party class action law suit. The young man providing service for account holders in the non-teller line where accounts are opened was extremely rude, shouting, "I'm not seeing customers go over there, and someone will help you." I went to the tellers line to receive service from an employee with very little to no experience, and when I asked about a manager being available. He giggled and said, "No one is hardly hear with us." I replied, " That someone with the ability to make management/leadership decisions should be available on the weekends to assist with customer concern/services. "The teller provided me with the Regional Manager: Miguel Duran business card and contact # for assistance with resolution to my concern: recouping the return check fee of $35.00 as he did not have the authority to perform this task. I spoke to Mr. Duran, on Monday, 3/13/2023 and was informed that he was not going to refund the $35.00, and I would need to contact the merchant that mailed me the $14.68 check. Mr. Duran stated he would follow up with me by emailing a copy of the check to the email provided. Needless to say, I have not received a call back nor a copy of the check that was deposited in the ATM on 3/3/2023.This branch and leadership DO NOT follow through on customer concerns.This review was posted for LACK of follow-up. Trust me, the $14.68 and $35.00 did not cause me any financial hardship; it is the general principle of the banking industry not caring about customers!

Do not, I repeat do not do business with the institution. I have my lease through them, not by choice I might add, and it’s extremely difficult to pay your bill if you don’t have an account with them. Paying online or on their app is like being in a room with no exits. If you have to call them be prepared for a 3 hours hold. My leasing company is going to refinance the loan with a competent company or they will be getting the car back!!
