My son began attending W.I.S.E. Academy in September, and I'm writing to share my overwhelmingly positive experience. Since enrolling him, I've witnessed a remarkable transformation in his academic progress and overall confidence. The open-door policy fosters a welcoming and collaborative environment, allowing parents to actively participate in their child's education. The school's leadership demonstrates a high level of professionalism and dedication to creating a thriving learning community.
What truly sets W.I.S.E. Academy apart is the exceptional staff. Their genuine passion for working with children is evident in their interactions and the supportive learning atmosphere they've cultivated. They've consistently gone above and beyond to nurture my son's individual strengths and address his areas for growth.
If you're searching for a school that prioritizes a child's holistic development and fosters a love of learning, I wholeheartedly recommend W.I.S.E. Academy. The commitment to academic excellence, combined with the nurturing and supportive environment, has made a profound difference in my son's education. I'm confident that your child would flourish here as well.

I have to tell you, this school and the amazing teachers working there have been the biggest blessing to our family this year. The way our babies come home and talk about their teachers shows the level of care they're receiving. And to come home and recite Psalm 23 and The Lord's Prayer! I'm overwhelmed with gratitude.

I cannot say enough great things about W.I.S.E Academy! My daughter is in PK4, and this school has exceeded all my expectations. The teachers and staff are truly dedicated to the students, providing a structured and engaging curriculum that ensures real learning happens every day.
The environment is warm, welcoming, and focused on both academic and personal growth. I’ve seen such amazing progress in my daughter’s learning, confidence, and social skills since she started here.
Even though I drive from Forney every morning, it’s absolutely worth it because of the high-quality education and care my child receives. If you’re looking for a school that genuinely invests in your child’s early education, I highly recommend W.I.S.E Academy!

It was such a blessing to find this academy for my son. I was in the process of transferring my son from a pre-k school, that I was displeased with because he was not getting the education that I desired for him to have. During my search I came across Wise Academy. It was the best decision I could I have made. During the tour I knew this was the perfect school, from meeting and talking to Mrs. Holmes, and seeing all the education supplies that she had in her classrooms. It reminded me of the old school teachers during my generation who actually taught the students. My son loved and enjoyed going to school, and he learned so much while he was there. Mrs. Holmes and her staff did an amazing job. At the end of the year he was definitely kindergarten ready! It is an amazing school. I loved it, and During the summer he also attended summer camp, and he still was learning, as well as going on field trips and having fun. Thank you again Mrs. Holmes and your staff for a blessed and awesome school year! We will miss you all.

I absolutely love this school. My son went to WISE for preschool only. Mrs. Holmes and Ms Holman transformed his handwriting and enhance his reading skills. He reads at a first grade level. I also appreciate that Wise incorporates God in to their curriculum. Lastly, the school takes health seriously. Ive always disliked when parents send their sick child to school to contaminate others. Mrs Holmes stays on top of it. She even caught my son's conjunctivitis very quickly. My only complaint was communication
in regard to school activities were sometimes delayed but Wise got it right in the areas that truly matter.

We are fairly new to W.I.S.E. Academy but must give recognition where it is due. Our 2.5-year-old son was seen today by his pediatrician for a 30-month checkup. She was flabbergasted by how advanced he is for his age. She was able to recognize both we as parents work with him and that he does not attend a traditional daycare (not downplaying or criticizing traditional daycare centers) but an academy/school. The pediatrician was also impressed with him having homework and inquired of where he attends. We have been pleased with the transition thus far. I feel comfortable and worry less while he is in their care. He loves going and is always eager to walk through the door. He no longer holds on to my hand as if he doesn’t want to enter (like he did with the previous center he attended for two weeks). We kept searching for the right fit for our child until I came across W.I.SE. Academy. Initially, I was advised there was a wait list for his age group and now I see why. I kept contacting the director until she heard the desperation in my voice and scheduled a tour. Our son was able to attend a week later. I appreciate the low child to teacher ratio. This was the best decision we made for our child learning, development, and advancement. He was potty trained in one week. They suggested not to put him in pull-ups at home and he caught on quickly, their method worked. I love the fact they have parent teacher conferences. I have nothing but great things to say to the entire team at W.I.S.E. Academy. Lastly, the aroma coming from the kitchen out the front door smelled very good. Smelled so good I could’ve had lunch with the kiddos today, laugh out loud. Thank you for all that you do.

Me and my 3yr old just LOVE ?? it here!!! My daughter has been coming here for almost 2 years and hates when and if she misses a day (for doctors appointments and things of that nature). She RUNS ??♀️ not walks to school when we get there. The director, Mrs. Holmes, is so involved with everything, is so easy to communicate with, and is super understanding ?. In fact she is so involved she has her own class that she teaches (superwoman ?♀️). As for the other teachers they are awesome, every last one of them. They would sometimes send me pictures throughout the day of the wonderful times they were having with my daughter. I can feel the LOVE that they have for my daughter, and I know she loves them to, I can’t stop hearing about her current teacher, Ms. Branch, (“Ms. Branch showed me colors and numbers, Ms. Branch said my hair pretty, and Ms. Branch gave me homework”) and how much fun she had learning and playing at school. Not only is she having fun with learning but I can see how much she has learned since she’s been there. It shows when we go anywhere outside of school. Bottom line is if you are considering this school definitely go for it you would definitely not be disappointed !!

Teachers- Good; Sweet and Patient w/ the kids. You can feel their genuine love for what they do, and it shows.Daycare Itself - GoodMy son seems to approve (he is only 2), but not his first daycare. I can tell from his behavior of how excited he is to go in, doesn't look back or cry for me, and he looks happy and excited when I'm there to pick him up. He adjusted really fast to settling in.Operations- 8am is their cutoff to take kids in. I understand it from an educational perspective of not letting kids disrupt the classes and teaching them consistency, but that is a bit early when most parents don't have to be at work until 9am. They also have a cutoff time, even if your kid has a medical appointment. NEVER heard of such, although I am finding out that this is common on this side of town, in certain areas.Suggestions - Send meal calendars, so we know what our kids are eating daily. There are times when my kid comes home, and he is literally starving. This is something never experienced at prior facilities where his last snack ended at 3:30pm. Yet here, 5pm is the last time my kid is fed, dinner and not a snack and he is starving? Same 30-minute drive just doesn't make sense. THIS SECTION HAS BEEN REVISED...Calendars are emailed, and I was looking for them in the portal.

The director doesn’t seem to have patience with kids. She harassed me every other day, texting me about my son having runny nose , when he didn’t have a fever or anything. I told her my son knows how to wipe his nose .. She said he doesn’t wipe it good enough?. Seems like she just didn’t want my son there.. My 3 yr old would be screaming ready to leave this place. Now that he’s somewhere else with people who actually has patience for him.. he’s calm when I pick him up.The director said some pretty foul things to me, and didn’t even apologize she’s a awful person.. Don’t recommend this place unless you like getting harassed about your child having a runny nose, sneezes , or blinks?.

W.i.s.e Academy is the BEST SCHOOL my child has attended ‼️ Yes, I said school cause it’s WAY BETTER THAN A DAY CARE!!! The staff is absolutely amazing‼️ I can’t make this up! My daughter was almost 2️⃣ years old. When she started at W.i.s.e Academy , that was the second day care she has attended! The 1st one didn’t go so well ;she cried EVERY DAY …LITERALLY , But that’s another story lol ?…But Oh honey how the roles has changed ? now she cries when it’s time to come home???♀️‼️ She’s learned so much in a short amount of time! Remember she was ALMOST 2️⃣ when she started, she’s now 2yrs & 5 months. She knows all her colors, shapes & etc!! She’ll be reading soon you mark my word! ? Oh did I mention she wasn’t NOWHERE NEAR potty trained when she started, honey least then TWO WEEKS OF HER STARTING they had her out of pull-ups & into underwear ! She now sleeps in her underwear and haven’t had a pull-up on since! I can write a book about W.I.S.E ACADEMY AND THEIR STAFF! They’re Amazing ? I just wanted to leave a review and let the world ? know how amazing you guys are‼️ Thank Y’all for EVERYTHING!

My daughter went here for maybe a little over a year. She was 2 at the time. Due to an unfortunate situation, we had to move back to my hometown. BUT, if I could pack this school along w/ the teachers up with me, I definitely would've brought them here. ? My daughter Kharí loved it here, I loved her being there. Teachers keep you up to date, actually cared for the kids, and always made sure to keep the parents informed. I miss this daycare so much.
