I’ve been to the Buckle at Lakeline Mall several times, and unfortunately, the experience is always the same. While the employees are kind and clearly well-intentioned, the level of persistence is just too much.
Every time I go in, I’m constantly asked for my size, encouraged to try on clothes I’m not even looking at, and followed with nonstop questions while I try to browse. It doesn’t feel like helpful service—it feels like pressure.
During my most recent visit, they even approached my husband, who wasn’t shopping, and brought him four random pairs of shorts they thought he “might be interested in.”
It’s overwhelming, and honestly, it makes me not want to go back. I’d much rather shop in an environment where I can browse comfortably without feeling hounded.

I came in nine minutes before closing, and everyone was so amazingly helpful. They hooked us up with a whole new wardrobe for my son spent tons of time with us with personal attention. I especially was blessed by Cecilia, Mehan and Ozzie. They were queens of buckle. I never want to shop for my family any other place!

I had a super awesome experience at this store today with the staff working between 2:30-4ish. One girl in particular helped me so much, I can’t remember her name but she was wearing jeans and a cute blue crop button up. So I normally hate shopping for clothes, it’s overwhelming to me. Especially because I recently lost 40lb and have no idea what size I am or what looks good. She was excited to help me and said “challenge accepted” when I told her the things that I struggle with in particular lol. Everyone else working at that time helped me too, they were all super friendly and made my normal nightmare of shopping actually fun and pleasant for a change! I don’t think I’d have ended up buying anything and have probably walked out of there feeling anxious like I normally do in clothing stores. Now I have some things I’m happy and feel confident wearing. Thank you guys so much! Your help meant the world to me today 💕

Alisha is super helpful! Love shopping in this store and online with her! Today unfortunately I saw and interaction of a customer who lost his mind because he wasn’t able to make a return, she kept her cool and this person proceeded to call her names and began using profanity in Spanish. He was absolutely a horrendous person to deal with how she kept calm is beyond me but she handled that situation with grace which if I didn’t already appreciate and respect her I definitely think very highly of her now!

While i absolutely appreciate the level of attention you receive when you genuinely in need help tracking down items, walking into this location immediately turned me off with the aggressive level of pressure the employees exhibit.
I took two step in before a lady walks up and doesn’t greet or say just starts asking what size I need. I let her know I’ll ask if I need anything and two minutes later comes up and asks again even going as far as ignoring my comment when I tell her I’m still looking and tarts guessing my size.
I used to work here back in high school and although I understand these folks work on commission the regular visit I’d make to find jeans here are done for now. Two other employees approached me as I was looking over an unfolded pair of jeans and made a definite reason to leave store and go look for similar brands at Dillard’s

I used to love shopping, but as I grow into my new “adult” body it’s been … less than love. Dom helped me find shorts that worked for me and work and I’m so grateful. My boyfriend and I were able to quickly find new pieces we love with no issues thanks to Dom. Now we know to head straight to buckle any time we come to the mall. Thank you!

AJ was so amazing! I’m super thankful how kind and helpful she was to find me a pair of sandals. My shoes were digging into my feet and causing me pain. She was quick to find my size and let me wear the new ones out .

First time ever that I walked into the store and no one acknowledged me. 3-4 employees I walked around for at least 30 minutes trying to decide on a gift for someone and was ignored. When I finally went to the register I stood and waited for two young women to finish a personal conversation. When I was checking out the young lady asked if I had been helped when I said no she made a lame excuse about how busy they were lol there was only 2 customers in the store the entire time I was there. The other was male and he got all the help he needed! This is what I do know I know the managers well! I am an account holder. I am in there often and today was unacceptable. Makes me want to take my business to a different location.
