I’ve been going to champion performance for more than 5 years now. CP was my PT at first when I was recovering from ACL reconstruction surgery. She helped me every step of the way. She did miracles and I was back playing soccer in 24 weeks! I’m always grateful.Recently I went back because of a groin tear. Parsa has been my PT. He’s such an impressive, caring, knowledgeable and innovative PT. I’ve loved working with him. I’m on right track to be back playing soccer in a few weeks. I highly recommend this place. All the staff are amazing and over the years I’ve got to know all of the staff. The quality of patient care here is second to none.

Can't recommend enough! After just 6 weeks of PT at Champion, the knee pain I have been struggling with for 5 years has significantly improved. I mainly worked with Justin Traxler, who was attentive and consistently tailored my PT journey to my own exercise goals. He was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he really loved helping people work to find their strongest self.Alongside Justin, each staff member I interacted with were just as friendly, passionate, and motivating. Each staff member was so welcoming and added a personal touch that made coming to PT feel more like a social appointment than a workout, which was much appreciated! After the instruction I received during my 6 weeks there, I feel fully equipped to continue my PT journey by myself, and I'm excited to do it! Thank you to Champion :)

If a person can look forward to physical therapy, it's here. A top-notch experience for me while working through shoulder pain. The staff is professional, knowledgable and friendly, greeting me as a long-time friend each session. My treatment included both therapy, and extensive education on how I can avoid future injuries. The mood is upbeat, action-oriented and recovery-centric. Very happy to recommend for anyone seeking physical therapy.

I can confidently say that Champion Performance is likely the best physical therapy organization in the entire city of Austin, and Justin Traxler may very well be among the best physical therapists I’ve had the privilege to work with.I started at Champion after a debilitating reaction to an antibiotic that affected every major tendon in my body. Rare to most PTs and pretty undocumented. Prior to Champion, I had worked with a standard PT group who hardly cared about my progress and discharged me after a few months without helping me return to my athletic pursuits. Immediately when I got to Champion, Justin took a tailored approach to my treatment and progressed me from barely being able to walk a block without pain to eventually squatting 250, benching 185, deadlifting 280, pull-ups, running / cutting, doing high impact work. Beyond when a normal PT would discharge me, they realized my athletic goals were still in the works and kept progressing me for 18 months until I felt I could do it alone. He not only completed my treatment—I’m convinced he did it in a way that was minimally painful at maximal speed, all with constant care and dedication. He would read up on my rare condition on his own time, program incredible workouts and pt sessions for me, and check in on me often outside of work hours. The man is an absolute saint, a beast in the gym, an intellectual giant, and now a real friend. I’ve recommended him to multiple friends and plan to continue doing so. And the entire staff at Champion are all amazing. My techs Ryan and Angel also became true friends and made what would've been a truly painful grind back to baseline into a pleasurable and fun experience.I could write a novel on how grateful I am to Trax and this team, but I challenge whoever is reading this to take a bet on them, and I promise you won’t be disappointed in your care.

I have nothing but great things to say about Champion Performance Physical Therapy. I tore my ACL playing soccer and was recommended this clinic by my doctor. From the beginning, the entire staff was nothing but kind, helpful, and patient. I'm a very analytical person and I typically want to know the "why" behind things. Justin was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of my recovery and had no problem answering my onslaught of questions. Justin also listened to my goals for recovery and went out of his way to tailor my exercises to my sport and body to achieve those goals. After going here twice a week for nine months, I have been cleared for return to sport and could not be happier with my experience at this clinic.

Typically when a good business makes a mistake, they own up to it. I was originally told that I had a co-pay of 15 dollars per session. Unfortunately I was stuck with a bill that was almost 400 dollars after only a few sessions. I was told this was due to an oversight by their billing department on my insurance. When I talked to the staff responsible, they told me I had to pay the balance because this was common practice and there was no way around it. I asked why I was not notified sooner and she said it was because of the billing cycle. This despite me attending sessions for almost two months. The PT staff is great. However, when it got busy I was passed around to other staff members, who at times had no clue what my issues were.My reason for 2 stars is simple, you don’t work with a customer for almost two months and then charge them significantly more because you made a mistake. The stars they got was due to the staff being good, everything else was an awful experience.

Highly recommend! The entire team here is absolutely incredible. They always run on time and they really care. I've been working with Ashley for 6 months, she is magical with soft tissue massage. Rob is awesome with his knowledge of using smart technology for recovery and the latest techniques, and Trax is super organized and amazing with tailoring the perfect exercise regimen. It is so special how they all work together in such a patient centric way to give their people the very best results. I am so grateful to have found these guys - they are the best!

I had a great experience at Champion. I had a hip flexor tear and Parsa, Julia, and Jackie all took great care of me! I'm feeling so much better and much more confident about getting back to being active and building my strength up to (hopefully) prevent this injury from happening again. I especially loved the vibe at Champion. When people walk in, the staff greet people by name and know their stories and show genuine care and concern. It's also a large space with tons of equipment so the staff have access to gear to help customize their approach to your rehab. Highly recommend!

This place is truly the best. I've been going for various injuries and surgery recoveries for 6 years now. Every therapist I've worked with is professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. I have referred countless people and they've all raved about their experience. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

This review is for their south Austin location located on saint Elmo. The worst physical therapy experience I’ve ever had.My first appointment really should have told me all I needed to know about what I was in for with this place. I walked into the clinic just as my assigned therapist, Ashley, was finishing up with an older female client. Country music playing on the radio in the background while they chit-chatted and scheduled their next appointment. After that client leaves, Ashley took it upon herself to immediately put on some cringey rap music Pandora station, obviously for purposes of pandering to what she perceived to be my demographics. Race-bait would prove to be a common theme in her conversation toward over the coming weeks as well, frequently bringing up topics like sports - especially basketball, shoe fashion trends, hip-hop, and how “dark-skinned” she saw me as (and I’m really not). Her deeply sheltered Texas country roots were on full display while professionalism was non-existent from day 1 through the final session. Another manifestation of lack of professionalism also showed up in the way she used touch, ignoring all of what I know they teach these people in school about first acquiring permission to touch, respecting the patient’s dignity, not touching parts of the patient where it isn’t necessary (like below my belt when I’m there for shoulder PT).There's also the breaches of privacy and protection of personal information they seem to be ok with here. When I stopped going along with her prying interrogations and good cop bad cop tactics to extract information, she decided to try and bring a PT assistant intern to one of my appointments and had clearly coached him on what questions to ask me before hand, such as what church I go to. I’m pretty sure its against a little thing called HIPAA to divulge personal information like that, especially entirely medically irrelevant information.Additionally this location has very minimal PT modality equipment. They do not have electrical stimulation machines, which apparently according to Ashley, are useless anyways, and other run-of-the-mill equipment and this is because crossfit, and not physical therapy, is how this location makes its money. That is why the parking for the clinic consists of ~4 spaces, 1 of which is normally occupied by a huge stinky commercial dumpster bin, and another by whoever is the therapist working that day. Meanwhile the crossfit side of the building (which is the much bigger part of the building as well) has an actual parking lot to accommodate the dozens of people who show up to each crossfit class. You can watch them working through wall of windows which separate the clinic from the gym, and they can (and will) watch you get worked on by the therapist. Fun viewing for everybody! If you have no personal nor professional boundaries to speak of, or don’t mind your rights to privacy and dignity being trampled all over, and don’t want your healthcare dollars to get you access to trusted therapy modalities beyond dumbells and foam rollers and other similar stuff you can buy at Walmart, then this is the clinic for you. But if you like your healthcare providers to be professional and respect HIPAA, and to not stereotype you immediately and constantly, and believe in the practices of their own profession, and you don’t like having to park next to a giant stinking dumpster to name only a few concerns then I advise you to be extra careful in your choice of a PT clinic and go just about anywhere else for your healthcare. Or alternatively, maybe go to their main location up in cedar park - from what I can tell by the pictures they advertise on their website, that is where they have invested their money. The main dish at their south austin location is without a doubt their crossfit program and it 1000% shows.

I’ve been here several times for different issues and have always had excellent service and care. I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere but definitely don’t fall short on professionalism and knowledge. Definitely recommend to anyone looking a PT, you can’t go wrong.

The services I’ve received here are phenomenal and have played an integral part in my continuing healthcare.ALL of the staff are amazing but I want to say that Rob Borromeo, DPT, is skilled, caring and knowledgeable. He has helped me immensely with my pain and mobility issues.

Best pt, training group I have had the pleasure to be around. Not only do they help you recover/get better they educate you so you can continue to improve. Everyone there is the best I have dealt with. I have been to several places for PT nothing compares.
