We recently moved to this Vet with our new pup and our 15 year old dog. Gotta say, I am impressed with the care and the pricing with the thrive membership. We were at Lakeline Vet for years, then VCA. Prices kept creeping up. We spent $100 on nail trims for two dogs. That was the final straw. Cypress Creek offers great care at reasonable prices.

This is our go-to vet clinic. Our favorite is Dr Kim who has been taking care of our dogs for over a decade All the vets there have been very caring and personable. Recently Dr Natalia P. saw our dog for a viral problem and she was equally great even discovering a previously unrelated ear issue during a follow-up visit. I'm very pleased with the care we receive here.

Dr. Kim and her staff are always the most warm welcoming vet I have ever been to. I have used Dr. Kim 10 years now and can't imagine using a different vet.

I drive 30+ minutes just to make sure my dog Bear sees Dr. Kim. She is absolutely fantastic. She treats bear like her own and always goes above and beyond. She always works with me to get him the best quality care he deserves. She’s been with Bear since his pre-amputation, tumors in his abdomen, and x2 enlarged prostate. I don’t trust anyone else to see him beside Dr. Kim and Dr. Kim only. We adopted another dog named Magnus and she takes just as amazing care for him as she does for Bear. The front staff is also amazing, patient and will do their best to find the right answer for my babies. Highly recommend this office!

Cedar Park Pet Care, formerly Griffith Cedar Park has been out vet office for 20+ years. Starting with our cat Dajua for 16 years to our pups for 14 years. The vets are world class and entire team provides great professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care for our pets and us. They continue to care for our new fur babies, Ozzy and Zena. I wholeheartedly reccomend Cedar Park Pet Care.

I moved to Cedar Park 3.5 years ago and found Cypress Creek shortly thereafter. I have a now 15 year old miniature dachshund who never had any health concerns and essentially only needed a vet for annual wellness exams and vaccinations. I was never blown away by the service but it was decent overall. No one extremely personable or extraordinarily compassionate but again given my dog’s needs (or lack thereof), I overlooked it.
Fast forward to this years’ annual exam and my dog has now developed a heart murmur, has elevated ALT levels and I asked if they could explore an arthritis diagnosis given her stiffness and lack of mobility recently along with dry skin and a dull coat.
Every time I asked a question or expressed concern, I was brushed off and told everything was just age related. Even after pushing for more answers, I continued to get pushback but was finally told that we could do an abdominal ultrasound and chest Xray. I was never offered any alternatives or specialist referrals. Everything felt rushed and impersonal. I was also told that they don’t know when their ultrasound company would be by to schedule appointments and to “just keep calling back or wait for a call from them”. After nearly 3 months of getting the run around with zero answers, zero resolution and absolutely ZERO care or attention to me or my Dog, I decided to switch vets.
Within one visit at our new vet I now have a scheduled echocardiogram, abdominal ultrasound and chest X-ray, full lab work up and an in depth care plan moving forward. All because they listened to my concerns, paid attention to my dog, asked in depth and probing questions about her overall health and symptoms. They offered solutions rather than seeming to be put out by my concern.
This same lackadaisical attitude has been shown to me by every person I’ve come into contact with from Cypress Creek Pet care, from the front desk staff, techs and our FORMER vet, Dr. Holloway.
To add insult to injury, every experience I have had here has been incredibly overpriced. Including paying over $50 for a nail trim just last week. And over $700 for her annual exam a few months back. I have no problem paying any amount of money to ensure the health and well being of my puppy, but to pay sky high prices and receive absolutely abysmal service and care is abhorrent and Cypress Creek Pet Care should be ashamed of themselves.

Excellent care provided as always. Dr. Bouloy and the staff are first class! Diagnosis and treatment all in one visit with overnight improvement in my cat’s wellbeing. I was very impressed! I highly recommend this veterinary facility to all. They treated my pet lovingly which made the experience even more enjoyable.

FOLLOW-UP:
The office manager is wonderful. She reached out right away and apologize for the situation and she was able to get my fur baby seen today with one of the most nicest doctor's ever. I thank you for making it right and we had a great visit. Changing my 1 star rating.
I scheduled my new patient appointment online on Friday night. Saturday they tried to call me, left a voicemail stating that if I did not call back by 12 my appointment will be canceled. When I received the message on Sunday, I was confused my appointment was scheduled for Wednesday. When I called them this morning to confirm my appointment was in fact canceled because a deposit is needed to hold a new patient appointment was not aware of that. When I expressed that I experienced a death in the family. There was no care in the world from the receptionist on the phone and because of that I will not conducting business with Thrive Pet Healthcare Cedar Park. It's all in how you respond to someone. If someone is explaining that they had death in their family and show no type of compassion I can just image how you will treat me and my fur baby. I'm just sharing my experience I understand everyone will experience something else. I would like to add that I have 10 years of experience of working in the medical field and customer service, so I'm looking for the some compassion I would show someone else.
