It's unfortunate the experience we had. However, we clearly dodged a bullet. We visited Daniel's at Lakeline Mall to shop for anniversary rings today. Our initial experience was good. The woman that assisted us was nice and patient with us. We were informed that they were having some sort of sale that allowed us to purchase one item and get a 2nd item for free. Once I had picked a ring, I began to look at necklaces as the 2nd free item. I figured I'd pick a necklace since I do not currently have anything nice. Once at the register, things took a turn for the worst. We were informed that the ring I had picked did not match the online price that we had seen. It was suggested that the rings were not the same though they were. After adjusting the price to match the online price, we could no longer get the necklace for free. None of this made any sense since it wasn't ever established that spending a specific amount was necessary to get the free item. My husband was understandably upset. The woman called the manager but nothing was really done to rectify the situation we were currently in. I then explained that I was fine with just getting earrings for free since that was still doable. However, instead of proceeding to a glass case to view earrings, the woman pulled a box from behind the counter. This implied that I did not have a choice on which earrings I could get. Needless to say, my husband was even more disappointed. I don't blame him. It really didn't make sense that they were having a sale, that the online price did not match, that it mattered that they had to adjust the price and because of that I could no longer get the necklace, and that now I was limited to a specific set of earrings that were not even on display, especially when this was not immediately brought up when we were told about the buy one get one free sale in the beginning. It was assumed that I would be allowed to pick a second item from a case in the store. We proceeded back downstairs and nervously went to Helzberg assuming the experience could potentially be the same. NOPE! I found a ring. I sized my finger. We filled out a paper or two. We were informed that our insurance for the ring was lifetime as opposed to 3 years (this was Daniel's coverage). We also paid less for lifetime than what Daniel's was offering for 3 years. They even took my current ring to clean it though it was purchased elsewhere 10+ years ago, discovered it was breaking and offered to have it fixed for a small fee. Now I will be able to have, both, my old ring and new ring cleaned regularly at Helzberg for free for life and fixed for free for life. I do not recommend Daniel's based off of today's experience.

Went in and purchased a ring because there was a sale. It was a good deal and my fiancé liked it a lot. The only thing she did not like was the fact that it was white gold not rose gold. The lady working said that that was not a issue. They could send it off to be dipped in rose gold. It would take two weeks along with the resizing. We agreed. When the ring came back it was a way thinner band than what we purchased. I asked what happened to the other band and they said that the jeweler had switched them. We didn’t approve that. Also, the other band was way thicker with a lot larger amount of gold. I told them that was fraud. Which it is. I called other mainstream jewelers and they said that I should report them. We chose to let them try and fix there mistake. They said it would be another two weeks to get the ring back. They would also give us the old band and replace the existing one with a rose gold one rather than dip it. At that time we still did not have a certificate of authenticity that we were promised. Fast forward. We got the ring and it was right. Bad news is we still don’t have a authenticity letter. They sent us one of another ring with another customers information on it. HORRIBLE. I will remove this when I am contacted and this is rectified.Since this the district manager has reached out to me. He had excuses for everything. From the pricing, sales staff, compensation, lack of contacting me when he said he would, and on and on. I contacted the corporate number I will update my posting. This has now been going on for a month and a half. Worst experience ever!

Had the best experience at Daniel’s Jewelers, mostly thanks to Kisi the store manager! She is so kind and knowledgeable! I had to get my wedding ring resized after having a baby and she helped find the perfect size! You also CAN NOT beat the prices, if you ever need a ring resized or anything done to it, go to Daniel’s, so much more affordable than other places I went to, like by a landslide! I will most definitely stop by Daniel’s jewelers again if I need any maintenance on my jewelry or even to just shop around! Thank you Kisi, I’m so happy with my overall experience! :D
