I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS OUTRAGED AND DISGUSTED WITH A BUSINESS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I WISH I COULD RATE NEGATIVE STARS BECAUSE I’D LOVE TO DO THAT. This place is a complete embarrassment to customer service. I brought my son here expecting a simple, decent haircut, and instead, two staff members managed to humiliate him, upset him, and completely ruin his Saturday. They were rude, unprofessional, and showed absolutely no care or respect toward a child. Here is exactly what happened. We signed in and waited patiently for our turn. When my son’s turn finally came, there was a small mix-up over which barber was supposed to cut his hair. Nothing major, and something that could have been handled with basic communication. But instead, the barber who was supposed to take him YELLED at my son in a loud, irritated voice, “HELLO, I’M RIGHT HERE!” This was in front of everyone, completely uncalled for, and absolutely humiliating. My son looked shocked and embarrassed, but he stayed polite and didn’t say anything. That was the first sign that this place had no idea how to treat customers, especially kids. During the haircut itself, things stayed calm, but it was an uncomfortable silence. And then when the haircut was done, the same barber looked at my son and in a cold, rude, dismissive tone said, “Is it good?” There was no friendliness, no warmth, just pure attitude. My son, still being the polite kid he is, said yes. At that point, I was already furious, but I wanted to just leave quietly. But what happened next was the final straw. My son went to ask for a lollipop, as many kids do after a haircut. He asked nicely and politely. The person at the counter said, “We ran out.” I figured it was no big deal. But as we were leaving, another child went up to ask for a lollipop and they handed him one without hesitation. My son, confused and hurt, went back and politely asked again, only to be denied again. Watching his face go from hopeful to heartbroken in seconds absolutely broke me. This was not a misunderstanding. This was targeted disrespect toward a child who had done nothing wrong. It was petty, mean-spirited, and completely unacceptable. My son left feeling sad, hurt, and embarrassed, and as a parent, I will never forgive that. I wanted to confront them and yell at them there on the spot, but I decided instead to let all my anger and frustration out here in this review so that the owner and every single parent reading this will know the truth about how this place treats children. If the owner is reading this, SHAME on you for employing people who act like this toward children. SHAME on you for letting this be the way your business treats families. We will never, ever return, and I will make sure every parent I know is aware of how my son was treated here. To any parent considering bringing their child here, take my advice and DO NOT DO IT. This place does not deserve your money, your trust, or the chance to make your child feel the way mine did. I in fact am incredibly surprised that a business like this is still surviving and getting lots of people. This business doesn’t deserve to have customers or to even be open. I wish I could’ve rated better, but with this behavior I will absolutely not rate it more than one star. If the owner is reading this, you should be grateful that your business is still open and bringing in customers. I AM NEVER EVER COMING BACK HERE EVER IN MY LIFE EVER AGAIN. NO NEED FOR LUCK, YOU ALREADY HAVE SOME SO BE HAPPY THAT YOUR BUISNESS IS STILL SURVIVING AND GROWING EVEN WITH YOUR REALLY ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF MEMBERS. BYE FOREVER!

Been coming to Great Clips for a long time. Today I had Claudia, showed her a couple of pictures, showing length and needed a haircut a little different looking.
She suggested a layer in the back, some face framing and side bangs. I love it.

I haven’t been to great clips in a long time so I decided to go and had the worst experience possible. There’s an older lady there and I specifically asked her if she could do layers and she just had an attitude the whole time my hair is now choppy and way shorter than I wanted. I pointed out that some of the layers were not even on both sides and she told me that this is how she does them and that if she were to measure every single thing out, she would be here for a long time. I asked about she just gave me layers, but didn’t really give me the face frame that most stylist do with blade where textured and smooth looking. So I’m basically gonna go home and face frame myself. I’m so disappointed and I will never go to a great clips ever again. The quality has just gone down the people that work there just seem like they do the basic hair cutting nowadays and I just have to go to a salon. I’m better off. Going to school to get services cause I know they do a better job.

I’m very disappointed with my son’s haircut today July 14 2024 at the Westwood shopping centre(Bee cave road)
The stylist spoiled his style and it’s very bad now . Haircut is not even and patchy everywhere . My son told her to keep the same style, but the stylist ended up not listening.

My son has been growing his hair out for a long time specifically for a baseball mullet cut. Heather did an amazing job! I was not sure how I was going to feel about him having a mullet but it looks great and my son is VERY happy. Thank you Heather! We’ll be back!
