I was looking for a specific socket and ratchet set, I asked a gentleman (today 12/17/25) whose name i didnt catch but was the supervisor on the floor, he found me the set I was looking for and was super helpful as a whole. Then whomever was working the register was also super helpful making sure I knew about the lifetime warranty on the Quinn tools I was buying and informing me that the ICON HF brand was manufactured in the same plant as the SnapON tools that everyone raves about. Helping me make decisions to continue to frequent HF and continue to buy ICON tools. It was an overall wonderful experience.

I bought a 3-ton long bottom jack yesterday to replace it on a engine hoist. I opened the box in the garage and realized it wouldn't fit because it had a flat bottom. Today, when I returned it to the store, the salesperson said I used it because there were scratches on the bottom. I didn't check for scratches because the box was sealed. As a result, I didn't receive a full refund.
This is the first time in years I've encountered such disrespect for a regular customer.

They don’t accept returns on items if they were used. Even if that thing is broken right away. Poor customer service.

I have been experiencing serious issues with the products I purchased.
Despite using the tools only for light-duty work, they keep breaking down. The ratchet socket set I bought has broken twice—sockets and bits keep cracking. Additionally, the lamp I purchased stopped working in less than a year, but it was neither refunded nor replaced.
Even though these problems are clearly product-related, returns or exchanges are denied, and I am only given a warning slip instead. As a customer, I feel wronged and request that this issue be resolved.
