My wife and I had an excellent purchasing experience with Bree Connally yesterday! We bought a new refrigerator for our almost completed home in Georgetown.

We got our new to us house carpet repaired for a big price point, and we were expecting a much more professional crew to install. They used our restrooms, kicked out new carpet out into the street while using their boots to smooth it out, and walked freely throughout the house in their noticeably dirty shoes- what's the point of new carpet if you're going to be walking immediately on it with dirty shoes? I called to get this resolved and was told "sorry it didn't meet expectations." I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed especially with how much this all cost.

I initially went to the tool rental at Home Depot on Lakeline. I went in asking for an angular saw. Though explaining my project, the guy that helped me said a palm sander would be better only they didn't have it back yet, to call the store on Whitestone. I called and they said they did. I went over there, got it, only it was too much work. A saw of some sort would be faster and easier. So, I returned it and the guy (Bill I believe) asked how it went. I shook my head and explained. He asked what I was tryin to do. I explained and he said a circular saw would do it. To apply masking tape first to cut down the middle to avoid cracking the wood. My 3 new BFF's!!! (Home Depot, Bill & the circular saw ) To the man who helped me (wfd4202 at 2 PM), I attached the pics you requested to see of the finished project. (Masking tape still on.)

You need better support of your customers. I purchased a generator on 2/16 for the ATX storm from a guy that had just returned it. Went to return it today as I got home and was intimidated by trying to connect it. It was UNOPENED and literally purchased from a white guy who RETURNED it. I was told I could NOT return the rolling generator as it is a "storm" item. No one was clear that was the ACUTAL policy and just because one HD guy said "someone" told him that. My receipt says it is returnable AND it was NOT OPENED. What is the difference between me and the guy who returned it?

What can be said about a phenomenal customer service experience? Returns are usually tedious and excruciating experiences. Not a this Home Depot! Mauricia and Briana are an absolute 'dream team' when it comes to this much-maligned process. Home Depot obviously chooses its associates carefully.

John from the garden department, where we purchased our Christmas tree, deserved a review although I usually don’t write them. This man went above and beyond to help my mother and I this morning. He gave us his undivided attention and helped us with everything (we needed a lot of help) so very graciously. If only every employee were like John, the world would be a better place. Home Depot- you are lucky to have such a great employee. 10/10 experience

Hey, this is a really great store. The employees here genuinely want to help you find what you are looking for so that you don't wander around looking and looking. I went here a week ago and one associate helped me find 3 different items. She walked me around to locate all of the items I needed and I thank you. A+ service.

I went to the HD on Whitestone yesterday for a few items. They have replaced the self checkout stations they used to have with new set ups. These new setups have a terrible layout. first there is no more scanner that you can run the item past and scan it. everything has to be done with a hand held scanner. Nice to have for big items but if you had 2 dozen little things it was a pain. There was a nice large monitor. However, it was between the hand held scanner. So if you have something on the table scanning it you now have to reach around the monitor to put it in the bag. THen I went to pay. these tables are about 5' wide. the scanner is in the middle and the monitor is above the bags. The credit card machine is at the other end of the table. So now you have to move the cart or get the next customer in line to back up so you can put your card in the reader. I think it is safe to say that whoever set up these checkout stations has never used a self checkout not worked a cash register before. I gave HD a +1 because -1 was not an option. I'm going to Lowes from now on.

After reading reviews about negative customer service experience, I was apprehensive about shopping here. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the customer service has improved dramatically. They redid their registers and customer service desk and seem to have more employees available to help. While you can tell some of them are new and learning, most all are willing to help out and are fairly knowledgeable. Kind of a hectic place(I came on a saturday around noon) but still pretty easy to shop and get help. Definitely will be coming back soon.

If your looking for a Home Depot where nothing is grouped logically and the employees spend more time trying to find what you need than you do, this is the place for you. Complete waste of time to walk in here looking for more than one thing.

Knowledgeable and friendly associates - ask for a specialist in the in the department you need. They generally know what they are talking about!

I live very close to the store and my husband and I are here often. I am writing this review solely based on my experience with my recent appliance purchases. On June 5th my dishwasher died, so my husband and I went to Home Depot to look for a new one. While there we realized they were still having their Memorial Day sale and we decided to take advantage of the sale prices and buy a new stove too since our existing one was about 13 years old and acting funny as well. This process was pretty easy. ( appliances are expensive but the process was easy) our sales rep was awesome ! We were told that our appliances would not arrive until Saturday June 15th. No big deal we could wait the 10 days, Which we then changed some Father's Day weekend plans to be home for the delivery. June 15th they stove was delivered but the delivery crew attempted to deliver the wrong dishwasher. We ordered a Whirlpool they were delivering a KitchenAid. Then they told us ours must not have been on the truck and left. They called back 30 minutes after they left to tell us they found it and could come back, except they had just gone back to a previous stop to uninstall it. It took about 8 phone calls, 1 department manager Jennifer- who was useless, 2 store manager Shawna and Terri who were more helpful, and another 10 days to get the correct dishwasher delivered. Not to mention my husband had to take a day off of work to be home for it. HD did credit us a small amount on our purchase, but ironically the sale price for the dishwasher the date it was finally delivered was about $75 less than the sale price we had paid. I was unhappy with the delivery company in regard to the mixup with our appliance, but after that the back and forth issues with HD employees NOT following up in a timely manner was very annoying.

Found a gentleman named "Success" in the store today, and he lived up to his moniker! (I'm serious... his orange apron said his name was actually "Success"). He helped me find a bunch of really obscure hardware and landscape items that I could not find by myself online. He was able to quickly help me navigate Home Depot's in-store and online inventory. Very patient and helpful. Love the customer service!!!
