I been at this school since August of 2017 and never had any issues until Ms.Maura passed away this school staffing and management has been TRASH! School smell like crap and dirty. Can’t keep no staff. Only good one left is Ms.Lulu and Lila. They lie on the kids and write up anything. Food is trash. Summer Escobar is a trash as well. I sent her proof of her staff/company lying and she did nothing about it but dismiss me and my kids. Unenrolled my kids because i discipline her for them lying on my child and calling for nothing. One staff member sits and watches the babies cry and scrolls on the iPad. School raggedy and ran down; they need to be shut down. Watch them cameras and yall will see and watch them dirty mouth stained teeth teachers. Thank you Ms Lulu(Maria), Lila, Ms Tammy , Ms Beverly, Ms Flo and Ms Maura for loving my kids.

This place is amazing! Both my kids are enrolled, and the location is convenient with my job and kids elementary.

My child has been going here since they were 6 weeks old and I do not have plans of moving them. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby. ✨ ?

My son unfortunately STILL attends this daycare. I absolutely HATE it!!!! I am currently looking for another after school program that accepts CCMS in Cedar Park, so we are kind of just stuck at this location for the time being. I have had to call out multiple workers for YELLING at the children like they are grown men. At one Point the male worker with the 2 lip piercings was screaming so loud at the kids when i walked in I asked him "is that you yelling at these babies like that?" he said "Yea because I can't hear what she is saying" and pointed to little girl next to him. When I first put my son in the program I was going to put my 2 year old in as well, however I quicky changed my mind when I told them how my daughter is non-verbal and has very string sensory issues and is currently eating doing feeding therapy but still eats pureed baby food. The director at the time told me that I would need to bring in proof and until I bring that proof she is going to have to eat what they serve. Like WHAAAATT??? So I instantly changed my mind and kept my daughter at the daycare all the way in south Austin that I have been with for 8 years. My 6 year is verbal and very open with me so I decided to keep him in until I can find somewhere else that has openings for CCMS children. Luckily My son does not have to attend the daycare other than a few hours after school with the exception to school closures. When the school is closed unfortunately my son does have to go for the day. Well every time my son has had to stay for the day he comes home and eats like 2-3 sandwiches from being so hungry because he refuses to eat the food they serve and I do not blame him. The food is disgusting and smells like old rotten food. I informed them I would have him start bringing his lunch for the days school is closed and the new director Angela told me he could not bring outside food because they are on the federal food program (so is every school in texas), and that I would need a Doctors note stating he has sever food allergies and needed to bring his own lunch. I asked her if there was something in the handbook that stated I needed a doctors note and at first she said no, but then later on in the day she sent me an email which I have attached for anyone considering this POS daycare to look over. They think Coleslaw is a form of snack or lunch for these babies. They don't give 2 sh*ts about these kids. At one point I witnessed a crying 2-3 year old trying to get her teachers attention and the teacher said "do not touch me" and continued to ignore the crying tot. It is really sad and I truly encourage anyone looking into this daycare to keep looking.

I have worked in preschool for over 15 years. And when my children were self-sufficient, I decided to go back to work so I began working at La petite Academy, in Cedar Park. I was excited at first because they had a very detailed curriculum, and training program, but after being there for a few weeks, i realized it was no different than any other overpriced daycare center. Money was the objective not the children. Teachers were Constantly gossiping about each other, the children and their families. Teachers were yelling at the kids, and the infant room was pure chaos! the lead teacher in there was more like a drill sergeant than a caregiver.I realize that I actually like children too much to work in a preschool. Because it’s about money and turnover rates and not about quality care, and providing education and a safe place for children while their parents are at work.find a good nanny!

its ok but my baby brother keeps on getting sick from the kids there, maybe its better to sanitize more and clean more to avoid sickness going around the daycare.

My kids went to this facility for about 2 years and at first we didn't have any issues. We slowly started to notice a change in staff, cleanliness, and the fact that my children continuously got head lice. I informed the daycare every time, and nothing really seemed to get done about it. Most of the staff, and the manager are friendly and polite, but the newer teachers didn't really seem to care.

My sister, mother and I did a tour here yesterday. I would say the first look into the facility was just disgusting, the floors were all dirty and it was hot inside. When we went in to actually see the classrooms, again everything looked filthy, unorganized, and hot. In the 14 month year old room a lady was kissing the babies on their cheeks. Now that seems sweet but it is dangerous and could spread diseases. Also in the two’s room, there were hardly any toys. One little boy dropped a toy and the lady grabbed him by the arm and told him pick it up. In a mean voice. There was no encouragement or redirecting going on. She didn’t even say hi to us, the visitors. She Just looked tired and frustrated to me.

I’m personally disappointed with how management has handled complaints/concerns. My children have attended this daycare since they were babies and I was fairly happy with their care up until this point. One specific teacher in particular, Mr. Jerome consistently made my children feel unsafe while in his care. He would SLAM wooden blocks on the table if/when children weren’t listening to him. He would GRAB both my children’s arms and place them in timeout if they weren’t paying attention to him. I asked management several times to remove my kids from his classroom and place them with a different teacher, however my kids still complained about his actions after I made this request. I have witnessed with my own eyes while standing in line to pick my children up at the end of the day, Mr. Jerome yelling at the kids and no action was taken. Anytime I bring up concerns, there’s always excuses such as “well, he’s a man and just has a loud voice” or “he can seem scarier since the kids are used to women”. Those excuses aren’t enough to make me feel at ease as a mother leaving my children in their care. Headquarters will be pulling camera footage to prove these actions. I would highly consider finding childcare elsewhere until Mr. Jerome as been removed.I will say Beverly and Flo are wonderful and extremely attentive to my children’s needs. I’m personally not comfortable allowing my babies around any sort of violence or aggression, even if it’s just one teacher under the same roof. I won’t take that risk to make them feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

They have a very violent Named Mr. Jerome that slams wooden bricks onto the table loud enough to make the kids cry just to get their attengine. Very unprofessional and very unsafe around children. I would unroll your children if they go there that's what we did when we found this out. The director Keeps covering this up so it looks like nothing when asked about but at this point we are going above them to the corporate office to have this matter handled

Just wow! This place is so amazing. The classrooms are so unique. It isn't your run of the mill cookie cutter daycare. The classrooms are so creative-they inspire a childs imagination. It is definately a school that teaches through play. The Pre-K room has a huge 80 inch interactive tablet and a giant tree in the classroom. Like I said the place is unique. Four year olds are recognizing sight words and doing addition and subtraction. Science is a big part of the program as well using actual items from nature. The children grow plants. Its just great. The lunch is also unique the menu is inspired by cuisine from all around the world. The teachers are happy and that makes all the difference in the world. This isn't a daycare it is a learning center filled with imagination, loving staff and a peaceful environment.Great Place!Your search for quality care for your child stops at La Petite!
