Ok so every now and then you deal with a business or an owner that you can tell does the job for more than just money. Every time I go here, I feel the owner honestly wants to just help people be healthier. Hès honest but not rude, He ran a lot of nutrition numbers off the top of his head while I was talking, and I went and verified online after he was spot on. He knows what hes talking about and has a passion to share that knowledge. We all need money so I know he needs to sale also, but I feel he would help you even if you didn't buy from him. I appreciate it when someone is passionate about what they do. The store is spotless, well maintained, well organized and the selection is precise. If you don't know what you're looking for, don't worry they will not direct you down any wasted path. They will direct you with a science backed understanding of health and nutrition. So, I highly recommend anyone on any fitness level to stop by and see what you think.

Why I will never buy my protein powder anywhere else ever again:-Personalized customer service: I got some workout ideas here over a year ago when I was newly trying to get into fitness and I still use those workouts to this day. My shoulders look amazing.-Quality and price point balance: $60 for 5 lbs of QUALITY protein powder?? That is astounding. Prices haven’t skyrocketed here either like they have everywhere else. Goodbye nasty $30/lb of protein powder from HEB.-Fun little extras: I got some samples of other proteins to try this time. The first time I came in I got a tank top and I have made a couple of gym friends that way from people who also shop here. How cute!-Satisfaction guarantee: I eat mostly dairy free but decided to try the Forza Pro whey protein with the promise that if I reacted poorly to it, I could bring it back and get something else. I can rest easy knowing my money is being well spent.

First time at the store and the owner was trying to convince me that the product I was looking for is so bad and his product is the best of the best and I will die if I keep using the same product!! The prices are way more than the online prices and he does not want to match or give any discounts.

Y’all need to know that all nutrition shops aren’t the same. To me, there are two things that really separate this Nutrishop store from any other nutrition stores. First, John (the owner) will always tell it to you straight and won’t recommend things that wouldn’t be of benefit to you (most will try to sell you snake oil imo). Second and equally as important, John has an In Body scanner. This scanner will measure a slew of metrics to help you analyze your fitness progress. It tells you how many lbs of fat and muscle you’ve gained or lost since the last session. It even tells you how many lbs of muscle you have in each arm and leg. I have slightly less in my left arms and legs so I now do a few extra reps per set on the left side to try and even it out. They even connect all this data in an app for you.
