I just want to vent. First off, I'm a 70 year old gramma and I should have known better. I feel like such a dumbass and it's making me really angry!!! I needed a car. Quickly. Don't have a good FICO score. Went onto CL to find a car. Found a little "dealer" who could get me financed. Here we go: 1. Noticed in their CL pic something that looked like a water mark in the sunroof area. Asked about it. 2. They called me back said no problem we're fixing it, we found a tiny spot of water on the floor about the size of a 50-cent piece. We'll fix it. 3. Go to see car and sign papers. The inside is TOTALLY torn apart in their garage area. I mean TOTALLY. Seats out, dash taken apart, roof liner off, flooring out. I thought that was odd for a small puddle of water. I mentioned "Y'all know how to put this back together now, don't you?" Oh yesssss. Uh huh. 4. Takes them over a week to "fix" it and put it "back together" 5. I go to get the car, turn in my trade, yada yada. Takes at least 3 hours. I'm hungry. I'm hot, there's no AC in their little office shack. I sign and get the hell out. Y'all can see it coming, can't you??? 1. 4 things not put together properly. Console area above windshield about to fall down; roof liner hanging down into rear window so there's a glare from the light in the dark and you can't see out the window properly. Plastic housing over the seat buttons left of driver's seat loose and coming apart. 2. Then I notice all the fabric covering the lower part of the doors is all wrinkled and there is some goopy yellow sticky muck under it. Some of the fabric coming apart from the door. Cripe. 3. Take car over, show him FOUR things that need fixed. I said, well, you told me y'all knew how to put it back together, right? Oh yes. Fine. I need a loaner since he told me hours to fix. No loaner available, we'll call you when we have one. Uh. Okaaaaaay...........?! 4. Wait 6 weeks, email them asking if they have a loaner YET???? Informs me this is NOT A WARRANTY ISSUE. Say what??? No, YOU ALL didn't put it back together properly. He then tells me he didn't think he was going to have to FIX THE WHOLE INSIDE OF THE CAR. 5. Four things, fella. Like we discussed. That's hardly the "whole inside" I gave up. I just now, after THREE MONTHS finally got copies of the paperwork I signed that hot day when I was a super dumbass......twice the Kelley Blue Book value for this 2005 Volvo S40. $299 a month x 48 months. UPDATE: 10/25/2015: Well, I figured out why they ripped the entire interior out of the car before they delivered it to me. After yesterday's rain, I have a LARGE puddle in the well of the driver's side floor which came in from where the door attaches to the front of the car. SO YAY! I AM NOW NOT ONLY UNDER WATER ON MY LOAN, BUT LITERALLY UNDER WATER INSIDE THE CAR I'M PAYING $300 A MONTH FOR 48 MONTHS!!!! Delete review
