I’m writing this review based on an interaction with the manager on duty at this location.
I purchased several children’s shirts and a sweatshirt for Christmas, spending over $100. When I got home, I realized the sizing was wildly inconsistent: a size small and a size medium were identical, while another medium was significantly longer. None of the shirts fit correctly, and the sweatshirt also fit so poorly that it ultimately had to be returned. The tags did not match the actual sizing in any consistent way.
When I came in to return the items, I made a point to calmly let the manager on duty know about the sizing issue — not to argue, but so other customers wouldn’t run into the same problem. The initial response I received was essentially, “We just sell the clothes, we don’t make them.”
That response was disappointing and dismissive. I wasn’t blaming the employee personally — I was pointing out a quality control issue with products being sold at premium prices. Deflecting responsibility onto the customer rather than acknowledging the inconvenience is not appropriate customer service.
When I explained that a simple apology and acknowledgment would have gone a long way, and asked for district manager contact information, I was told that information could not be shared. Only after that did the tone shift to a very performative apology, which felt disingenuous and reactive rather than sincere.
Before leaving, I asked if the manager’s name would be on the receipt. When it wasn’t, I politely asked if they could write their name down. I was told they did not have to give me their name and was then ignored entirely.
I spent a significant amount of money and was treated dismissively, spoken down to, and ultimately ignored for raising a legitimate concern. If this is how a customer spending over $100 is handled, I can’t imagine how smaller purchases are treated.

I ordered a pair of shoes for Christmas, using the app for a promo, unfortunately I received an email stating my order was canceled and a refund was being processed. I called the store and Chloe who I assume is the manager informed me that they did have the shoes in stock and I could pick them up and that she didn't knoe why the order was canceled. She said she would call IT and get a ticket started to process my order again since I don't have to extra funds to process the order again AND my refund was still pending. Before I hung up with her she assured me that before I drove all the way up there that by time I got there the order would be ready. I show up and they tell me that the dont have the order and that I would have to pay for the order again, even though me and Chloe had talked about that I wouldn't have to and that by time I got up there that IT would have it fixed. When Chloe came up to the register she told me that IT couldn't and that I would have to pay again for the shoes and wait for the refund. Had I know this or had she called I wouldn't have wasted my time up there at all. So I scrapped some extra money together once I got home and went to place the order, and before I left the store I had asked Chole worst case if I order the shoes later can I order a size up and exchange when I pick up and she said that was cool. So I placed the order for the size up, and then received an email that my order had been canceled and refund was being processed. Well now I'm out the money x2 shoes, so I call the store to ask why my shoes were canceled again. Chloe wasn't in the store yet, but the nice gentleman there took my name and number down and told me that she would call me back when she knew what was going on. Cause I definitely dont have the money to place and order for the 3rd time. I called back an hour before I told the nice gentleman I would come back up there to ask for Chloe. And she informed me she didn't know why that employee was canceling orders and that it had been a busy day and thats why she hadn't reached back out to me. So in summary I'm still waiting on the refund for 2 orders, didn't get the gift I needed for Christmas and guessing I'm gonna have to go somewhere else to get it.

My daughter purchased a shirt at this location yesterday. She got it home and realized that it already had a hole in it. I saw her take it out of the bag and find the hole. She tried to return it today and was told that she could not because it was damaged. Before she left, she checked the website which said there were no more in stock, but she found one in the store. They didn't even want to let her exchange it but finally agreed. I have had issues with returns in this store in the past as well. Tilly's has horrible policies and incompetent managers. There are plenty of places to get clothes for kids.....avoid this one.

Great shopping experience at Tilly’s today! The store was neat and well organized with such a cute assortment of merchandise. I was greeted right away, and Sydnie helped me find the perfect jeans - I love them! Thank you for the excellent service. Highly recommend this location.

Today, I visited a store to purchase Christmas gifts. Despite the presence of several associates, we were not greeted upon entry and were largely ignored while waiting in line. With two registers available, the staff seemed preoccupied with conversing amongst themselves, neglecting to assist with checkout. It appeared that they were not concerned about providing efficient service. As a result, we abandoned our potential purchases and left the store, dissatisfied with the subpar customer service.

Rude, awful staff. I just walked out of this store after the cashier argued with me at the register over her own mistake. Instead of trying to resolve the issue with a customer, she chose to berate me and mutter under her breath about me as I walked out. Unreal

I have to agree with every comment on here. Customer service is terrible at Cedar Park! I assume I also dealt with Karmen. "Heavy set brown hair bangs hates her life and her job clearly". I returned a dress that at first she tried to deny by saying it was a day over 30 days and I had to walk her through how a return works - if I order an item and it takes 2 weeks to arrive it wouldn't be considered over 30 days in my possession. So naturally it was returned. What really set me off is I had ordered an item that had to be picked up that day and she said the order was canceled - when I asked why if it was to be picked up that day she proceeded to throw her hands up like oh well and say womp womp. I was thrown back. What is wrong with people these days. You hate your job go elsewhere. It's like The highlight of her day to try to make others as miserable as she is!

my experience wasn’t great at all. Karmen please work on being less strict on the return policy. The reason why is I can’t return an item i purchased when it’s one day overdue. The shorts i bought were 70$, for two pairs. I would much consider other shoppers going to the Austin location. Have a good rest of your day.

Dear Tillys Customer Service,
I am a regular shopper at Tillys, spending at least $400 every 2 to 3 months on my son's clothing. Unfortunately, I have consistently experienced poor customer service at the Cedar Park location, particularly regarding their return policy.
Recently, I attempted to return two items purchased on April 26th. On May 29th, I spoke with Karmen, who claimed to be the manager. She refused to process the return, citing that it was over three days past the purchase date. When I asked to speak with the store manager, she informed me that the manager was out of the country and suggested I call customer service, which I had already tried to no avail due to a busy phone line.
I left the store feeling disappointed and mistrusted, despite being a loyal customer. I then called the Austin location, where they agreed to honor the return as the tags were still attached and I had proof of purchase. This positive experience at the Austin location contrasts sharply with the Cedar Park store.
Karmen exemplifies a "manager" who fails to provide great customer service or act in the store's best interest. Having worked in retail for many years, I know it is possible to honor requests for our clients, even if it's only by offering store credit.
Due to the repeated negative experiences at Cedar Park, I will no longer shop there. Instead, I will continue to patronize the Austin location, where I feel valued and respected.

Everything is so overpriced here. I purchased an item for my kid for Christmas. My kid didn't like the item so we went to exchange it for something else. Turns out, in 2024, Tilly's is not able to do exchanges without the original receipt. If you have the original form of payment it won't matter.

*****Cedar Park location Manager **
The manager at this store had the worst attitude and was very unprofessional so much so that it took me to file a corporate complaint and write a review which I never do..
Today my daughter called me ( who mind you is in this store every week) and told me that they wouldn’t let her return shoes that she bought YESTERDAY because they look dirty. Which they really didn’t, but here the thing she asked the sales associate for 6.5 shoe but they gave her the DISPLAY 6.5 MEN’S white Vans instead.
She went back today, literally the next day to exchange.
They wouldn’t let her because they told her they had been worn. Which of course they had not. This is less than 24hrs of them giving her the wrong shoes.
I show up thinking their a big misunderstanding, because my daughter said she couldn’t speak to a manager and was told she just needed to call CS.
I then speak to a manager who I can tell has a bad attitude from the start.
I explain the situation all over again. Then she the manager try’s telling me it could of been very possible my daughter were a shoe that was way too big for her in less than 24 hrs and brought back. I’m in actually in disbelief in what she is saying.
This store sold her the wrong gender shoe and then want to accuse her of wearing the shoe. Oh and it was a display shoe too..Wow!
So then she gives me this long spill how the only person who knows what the shoe looked like the day before was the person who sold it so I asked my daughter to check the name on receipt to see who sold the shoe, I told her the girls name on the receipt so we can ask. She also says since this was a display shoe they should of given her a discount etc.. I told her that didn’t happened either which makes no sense why she said that if no discount was given. ?
Anyway the manager says the person is not there and I asked ok can we comeback tomorrow or sometime to verify with her etc.. so my daughter can get her refund.
Then out of no where this manager raises her voice and starts saying out loud “I am not going to give you a 16 yr old schedule! In my head I’m thinking first off I didn’t ask her schedule nor did I know she was 16. I wouldn’t care if she was 50. I again reminded her of what she herself said about asking the person etc.
So then my daughter chimes in and says quietly that the girl was not the girl who checked her out but who helped her on the floor and the guy that was actually in the store at that moment working was the one who checked her out and saw the shoes etc, so I say “great can you please go ask him?” Me thinking finally this will get resolved. Not a chance. This manager looks at me straight in the face and flat out says
”Nope, She says I will speak to him in my own time.”
I’m in disbelief at this point.
I said “you are being very unprofessional and you’re the manager here”
I asked her for corporate # and she told me “to google it” and I asked her for her name and she again said “no.”
She just kept raising her voice going back to the same old comment about feeling uncomfortable that I wanted a 16 year old schedule . ?
This Karen of a manager only didn’t want to give her name because she knew she was in the wrong.
Mind you this lady kept telling us the only way she can determine what the shoes looked like the day before was by asking the person who sold them to her but when we wanted to asked she got really defensive.
I know my attitude was Cordell but very annoyed by her.
I did tell her she knew what she was doing was wrong.
Since she didn’t give me her name the only way I can describe her is mid 20’s maybe even in her 30’s, light eyes and she has dirty blonde, maybe even reddish French braided hair and extremely unprofessional.
I made a complaint with corporate and they were very apologetic and have no problem returning the shoes.
What this manager did was not okay a
