Rented from U-haul numerous times in the past but the last few years I've had one negative experience after another. But Pamela Strickland at U-Haul, Cedar Park exhibited that it's not the U-Haul company that peddles atrocious customer service, but rather other individually run locations.
Cedar Park U-Haul promotes both professionalism and transparency while advocating for fair business practices for its patrons. Another location had created gross errors in my contract and with investigating on my behalf, Pamela took it upon herself and her location to advocate for me and correct the matter absorbing the burden, so I would not have another horrible experience with the company. A rectification of this magnitude shows that U-Haul Cedar Park is a top-tier community business model.

The place is filthy and disgusting.
The lights inside the storage units are controlled by timer. The timers don’t work correctly. I’ve brought it up more than once, but the rude woman today said that this is the first time she’s heard about it. If I’ve complained, and you haven’t heard about it before you probably have an issue with your communication within the office.
It says climate control, but they keep it hot as Hades in the Summer and cold is the Arctic in the winter. This place is just ridiculous.
Do not rent here!

This location is stellar! I had a one-way move, and pickup at the other location was a little bumpy. Then, for dropoff, I was re-routed from my original drop-off location due to no parking. I ended up at this location as an alternative drop-off, and was immediately impressed. Firstly, I worked with Christy, who really smoothed out the whole process. She was pleasant, calm, and helpful. Also, let me talk about their moving supplies sales area. It was The Most Organized and welcoming. Honestly if I hadn’t just completed my move, I probably would have gone shopping because it was so well-lit, organized, and not overwhelming. Christy and her team are top notch and I can tell they take pride in their work. Thank you to Christy and the whole team at U-Haul Cedar Park!! You are making a difference. ?

I came in to pick up my vehicle and had the best experience. The mother/daughter combo that helped was amazing. Made it super easy. However, when returning the vehicle, I was met by a man in the office who refused to take my keys. There was a van parked in the way, so I was not able to pull the truck back to their drop-off area.. They said someone had locked their keys in the van so it couldn't be moved. HOWEVER, Mike (I believe) refused to do anything. Pernell rolled his eyes at me before reluctantly taking the keys. Super rude. How am I supposed to drive it back when the area is blocked?....
