Went here recently, I have nothing to say besides the point that these workers are naive.
You guys charged my family for something that was already your problem, if these precious goods you guys set up for shop was so fragile and apparently made out of plastic, broke so easily… at least put it behind a glass shelf. Unless you guys are having a hard time finding affordable shelves, (which i don’t understand if your products are so pricey.) thats on you. However, I acknowledge the fact that the rule, “You break it, you buy it.” Is reasonable, your incompetence is not.

WORST experience.
For starters. the owner was EXTREMELY rude and didn’t give proper respect. the workers are also very petty, they’re also part time workers and filthy. I’ve seen many reviews on this place. but you have disappointed me and i highly so NOT recommend this place

This gas station was not friendly, unreasonable, and not customer service orientated. The manager or owner was racist to my dad. Treated him differently versus a typical human being just because he is not white. They threatened to check the cameras simply because they placed items on a table for sale and it fell over while customers like us were looking at it to purchase. We suggest you to box it up or put it in a glass case so that can be prevented in the future. Invest in your business so you won’t loose business like loyal customers. Our family ended up spending $89.82 at a gas station over a plastic decor. There is never a rule in the American law that states if the consumer is looking at items and the items surrounding falls over and damages itself that whoever is near needs to pay. The margins on this item is priced nearly $60 and if it’s too much for the store to profit, consider not selling it in the future so it doesn’t cause a problem with customers. We were planning to purchase a few other items to support the gas station but after this experience we will never come back and will spread the word about this experience. A small problem that they created a mess out of and delayed our trip back home. We are stuck in pouring thunderstorms harming our safety and left the gas station disappointed with customer service.

Cedar key chains had a sign on them stating they were $3.99 but when I got to the register, it rang up for $4.99. I told the cashier and she got the manager (I guess). He said that someone forgot to change the sign and that he could not give it to me for the advertised price. I advised that that's against BBB rules and he still stated that he could not. Poor business/management skills.

This gorilla (nothing racial, just descriptive) - of the Texan Food Mart, a convenience store in Centerville TX is not a customer person. He is downright rude and offensive person. This person routinely has had a less-than-jovial demeanor at his workplace. Today, I tried to fuel my vehicle at the pump, yet, with some stations, I get the message to "see cashier." I cannot always be accepting of this without a suitably explained reason and so today was going to be my day to ask. I went inside, made myself some coffee (for purchase, of course) approached said gorilla to pay for coffee and fuel, and also to ask my question. I simply, but straightforwardly asked the gorilla; "how come your pump doesn't work for me"? - or similar words to that effect. The gorilla said; (words to the effect of) "maybe you don't know how to use your card." This was stated in an insulting manner, not as humor, by the way. Brothers and sisters, who enjoys being spoken down to? I think most will agree that the customer is the person that should be given leeway towards - and not the customer servant...that is, if he perceived me as rude first (his wrong perception), then he first should had made certain of it and second, not spout a negative reply at any time. As a representative of a company that serves the public - a public that has the right to ask questions (even bad questions) - that representative does not have the right to express his/her opinions outside of the management/actual company owner's viewpoints. Some stuff happened after that which I may cover later. The point of this post is the management needs to examine this employee's behavior and work ethic without prejudice for color or creed. Then, probably something needs to be done.

Clean restrooms, clean store, nice group working there, decent selection for snacks, what more could you ask for at a non-bucees roadtrip pitstop?
