Blue Moon Gardens is a retail garden center and one of the cutest gift places in East Texas, located in the rolling hills of the piney woods. It sits amongst many beautiful display gardens and offers picnic areas. The business grows many of its plants itself, offering a great selection of potted houseplants, succulents, herbs, annual and perennial flowers, and shrubs, though the vegetable variety can be limited. It also has a good supply of organic gardening supplies, tools, gloves, and garden art in its garden shop. The 100-year-old farmhouse contains a unique gift shop where you typically never see the same stuff as in other stores. A fiber studio on site hosts classes and sells supplies for crafts like rug hooking. The people are most helpful, answering all questions and providing guidance. The gardens are amazing and beautiful to walk through, with seasonal decorations. Visitors find it a delightful and beautiful place overall.

A truly great find. Wonderful selection. Reasonably priced. A zen experience even if you don't need anything but I dare you to leave empty handed. Worth the trip.

I’ve been going here for years and love this garden staff. Sometimes they’re a little more pricy than other places but the plants are healthy and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
