About Hummer House
Hummer House is a quiet, serene, and peaceful getaway very close to nature. It is an amazing place to see hundreds of hummingbirds, as well as deer, cardinals, wild turkey, and other exotic birds among glorious trees and flowers. The location is a beautiful oasis and heaven for a wildlife photographer. The property has a river within walking distance where visitors can go to sit, wade, kayak, or have a BBQ. It features three little private cabins and a bed and breakfast. The people who run it are extremely nice, great, and welcoming, providing an entertaining and informative presentation about the location’s long history. They are accommodating, allowing guests to roam the ranch and enjoy the birds. It is a great, relaxing place for a group or family to have a lovely time. Visitors should plan to stay a couple of hours and are advised to take staples, as the closest grocery store is some distance away. Cell phone reception in the cabins can be limited. The experience is fascinating and well worth the trip, with many guests planning return visits.

Our family had a lovely time there. Very close to nature. Go down to the ruver and kayak and bbq down there. Its so serene and peaceful. Loads of hummingirds, deer, and glorious trees and flowers.
Its an experience for those who know how to be respectful of beauty.

This is a great place,great people in a unique little town. Great Kayaking, great birds and good food not too far away!
