Yikes. First of all, this plaza is in a horrible spot where you fight traffic to both get in and out of the plaza. I've been to Goodwills all over San Antonio and Austin, and several in-between but I've never seen such outrageous prices as this particular location. Every decor item I wanted to buy was $8-12 each and definitely not worth even half of that. I was disappointed and walked out with nothing. The check out line made zero sense. Customers were arguing about where the line was supposed to start. The only good thing about this location was that it seemed clean.

Went to donate some clothes with no assistance from the multiple staff nearby. Walked up to the lady and politely asked her if they accept military uniforms and she rudely told me "We accept everything." After I was done I asked if I could get a receipt. She then sighed and looked at me as if she was annoyed and told me "We don't do receipts." Pretty sure she was racist as she went to go assist the other customer with a much more polite demeanor.Worst experience I've had at a Goodwill and this lady in particular definitely doesn't deserve to work if she can't get along with everyone.

Prices are just stupid now. I can buy it new for less. This was a used donated item and you do a 100% mark-up.

I started shopping at goodwill about two years ago. I am sorry to say this but I am not impressed with the CIBOLO store at all. It is messy and not well organized. The manager is not very friendly and you can tell she is trying to run a tight ship. But she on three different occasions made poor choices on how to handle store policy's they run you out of the store when they are closing down. And close the bathrooms 15 minutes earlier I spend a lot of month in goodwill. The Goodwill on 1604 and Bulverde is Clean Very organized and. Has a very friendly. Staff lt is worth the getting on 35 and fighting the trucks to get to their store. They don't turn the lights out on you either and they don't seem to have any trouble getting out there when they close.

The manager does a great job with keeping the store clean and organized unlike other stores in the area. Great place to shop. My favorite Goodwill store. Thank you Mr Smith.

A little pricey, first time, they give out military discount, but when I did not have my ID on me, they didn't bother to give the discount. But was quick to ask me to round out my change!.

Store closes early and is rude to everyone near closing. Refused to let me look at anything else when the line itself took more than five minutes and I still left before they closed. Terrible work ethic.

We've never left empty handed. Sometimes great little finds can be had. You just need to look for them.

Not only is it annoying, but it's unhealthy for your patrons to close the restrooms 30 minutes before closing. Then, at 10 minutes til, half the lights are turned off and the announcement is made 3 times over the intercom. At 5 minutes til, another announcement is made several times over the intercom and the rest of the lights are turned off. It was still 6 minutes til close and I'm directly asked to bring my items to the front because they will be closing in 5 minutes. I have worked in customer service for more than 2 decades, mostly in retail. We would never directly address a customer to stop shopping, especially before closing.

I called the Goodwill line and they verified that only one discount could be applied to a purchase. Maybe it's stated somewhere in the store and I just missed it?? Then that's on me. For those who utilize the discounts available (military, seniors, students.. etc.) take note that the 50% off of the color that week will not be honored in conjunction with that discount. Now I understand why I'm so promptly asked if I have a military ID as soon as I approach the register. You recieve a better discount if you have a color of the week item for the 50% off. Don't use your 10% discount for items that qualify for the color of the week. Please have the courtesy to inform the customer that only one discount will apply at the time of purchase. Automatically resorting to the discount that will result in LESS savings for the customer really says something about this organization..

Don't advertise that you're open until 7pm for donation drop off if you are going to lock the door and stand there telling someone who is graciously dropping off very nice gently used items that you're closed. The gentleman at the door when I knocked told this lady I was there to drop off items. She yelled in a rude manner that they were closed meanwhile it wasn't even 7pm yet. I even stated that I didn't need a receipt and just wanted to donate two bags of clothes.Definitely will be donating clothes elsewhere from now on.

I wasn't overly impressed the handful of times I've been. Selling worn out looking clothes for high prices. I wish I had luck here like alot of people seem to. I wouldn't want to buy any clothes without trying them on. There's typically a good reason people donate clothes.

This is a great GoodWill to go to. Their friendly, organized, and clean. They have great stuff also. It's has more name brands like Hollister, American eagle, Nike, and Adidas. Great day out with my boy friend hitting the thrift stores.
