I've been going to this restaurant for years. The food used to be very good, and the portions were plentiful. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the portions have been going downhill, but the prices have been going up. The place is nice and cozy inside, and you can order a la carte. But, we ordered take out the other day and we were very disappointed with the taste of the food and the portions. We pay just short of $20 for fried rice and hot and sour soup that taste it like Bar-B-Q sauce. The portion of rice was barely enough for my wife and I, and the taste was not what it used to be. I don't know what happened with this place it makes me sad cause I really like Chinese food.

I ordered the Szechuan spicy chicken with hot and sour soup and my buddy ordered double mushroom beef with egg drop soup. I was brought my soup and my buddy asked about his soup so they went to check on it. When the kid came back, he said that they were out of egg drop soup so they offered him wonton soup, which he took. Before either of us received our food, the kid told us where we can get extra napkins, and where we could get mints on our way out the door… It made us feel like we had to hurry up and eat because we would get no more service for the rest of the night. About 10 minutes later, my food came out and we asked where his food was. 10 minutes later, his food came out. My Szechuan chicken was not spicy at all, which was a big disappointment. The food was OK, the service was laughable, and the overall atmosphere was very depressing & dismal.

We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since we moved to Texas. A coworker told me about this place, so we had to give it a try.I ordered General Tso's chicken, and my spouse ordered curry chicken with an order of crab Rangoon. The people were very nice and attentive. They made sure everyone was taken care of. The crab was good, a little more cream cheese than in used to buy good. My spouse said the curry was some of the best ever tasted. The General Tso's was more like sweet and sour chicken. It had no heat, which is normally good, but I like it with a little more heat. The meal had great flavor, and I enjoyed it. It just wasn't what I expected.
