“I love Stan's Tire Service. One day as I got my tire pressure checked, he noticed the date code on my tires and he was absolutely insistent I change out my 20 year old Perrelli rubber... Not safe at all... I was making regular trips to Abilene from Cisco for medical treatment. Even tho I really had no budget for new treads and the sidewalls looked good, Stan held firm that I simply had to do something sooner rather than later. I decided to shop around online and found a set I could raise money for. I just liked being in control of the choices. Stan did not insist that I buy tires from him specifically. They were delivered to Stan's shop and his price to swap the tires out was very fair. My original set had been on the F250 for 20 years and they were stuck on good! Stan worked hard to remove the wheels to mount the new rubber... Very physical to release each one. He told me, if I had a tire failure on the road, it would have been impossible to change the tire without being towed and I believe he was sincere. After he got my wheels off I checked the tread on each one... The dry rot was hiding inside the tread and certainly was a dangerous situation. I feel like Stan saved my life from a tragic incident on the I-20 interstate. Since then I go visit his shop often where he checks my tire pressure and oil level as a friendly courtesy. I trust Stan and that's important!”
