A clean motel run by friendly people. Highly recommend for a stop on a road trip near the Texas and New Mexico border.

Amenities are very limited but definitely affordable on a budget and beds are safe.

Cozy spot to spend the night. Charming rustic furniture, and minimalistic toiletries take you back to another place in time. Meat freezer conveniently located in office. All the fly paper you never knew you needed. 5/5 stars.

Date of Overnight adventure was July 14, 2018I called ahead to get the rates of this place as my mom was traveling through town. They had a slightly better rate then the place down the street, so I let my mom know of their rates and they had an available room. When my mom got to her room, the a/c wasn't blowing. so my Mom and her BF got the manager and asked him to clean the filter, he knocked it agains something to clean the dust off, but the BF ended up washing it to clean it. Also they had two of the dirtiest towels in the room (my mom's dirty towel in her car was cleaner than their clean towel) they had NO washcloth's, there was Pee in front of the toilet and the sink was nasty and the room smelled so moldy and of mildew - It didn't help that their was a train nearby and due to the Rodeo being opened, the Mexican Restaurant next door closed down... My mom did not take photos of this place, but I'm now questioning the "Three 5-Star Reviews" if I could give it less stars I would... I'm very sorry that I told my mom to stay here. But the lady up-front did give my mom a $5 discount due to the issues.
