Dr Mahaffey is AMAZING. However, if you call the clinic you can almost guarantee they will not answer. Getting an answer to make an appointment is incredibly difficult.

I tested positive for covid on a Thursday. Called this place on Friday trying to get in and get a jumpstart on it. I told them I wasn’t an existing patient but they told me they accepted walk ins on Saturday. So I went up there on Saturday and it says to stay in the car and call if you’re sick. So I did. I called 8 times. They never answered. I finally went in there at 8:40, I made sure the lobby was empty and one of the receptionists were not on the phone. She asked if I had symptoms and when I told her yes she told me I need to get in my car and wait. So I called while I was walking out to my car. I finally got an answer. They got my date of birth and then asked if I was a current patient there. I told them no. They said they couldn’t help me. And when I brought up that they said they did walk ins on Saturday, she said that was only for current patients. Even though the day before I had told them I’m not a patient and they told me come on Saturday for a walk in???? So I wasted 45 (longer than that though bc I got their way early) minutes just to be turned away. I even called exactly at 8 am when they opened. So for them to say they were playing ‘catch up’ with all the other calls doesn’t make sense. I also never post a review. But this was just ridiculous.

Shame on the front folks. Tell you you can't come in even though you feel ok. Have to sit in car and pull to back of building and wait. Lol. Nope. Charged me $45.00. This is crazy. Next time I will see Dr. Baker or I won't be back

Absolutely horrible service. I show up 10 minutes late for my 3pm appointment and I’m told I’ll have to reschedule because as a new patient I should be there 15 min early and there is only a 15 min grace period “and sir you’re 25 min late!” The appointment was for my back and I can’t hardly walk. My apologies for being late. “Sorry sir you will have to reschedule”It took me 10 minutes to walk in!Only 2 people in the waiting room… what a joke!

I have been going to Family Medicine for about 30 years now. The experience I have had there has been great. It is nice to go somewhere that your medical history is known and your doctor or PA is not a stranger. Anyone that has been there once and had a complaint needs to judge them against other providers. They are open late and open on weekends so you do not have to go to urgent care because it is after 5pm or on a weekend!

They are all always friendly and professional. I am a self pay. So, I have to really watch what labs I can get done and limit my visits as well. They have been very understanding of that. The try to let me know ahead of time how much something will cost. I appreciate that. Today, Alacia went above and beyond for me. Taking care in finding out before hand how much I would owe. Also, making it that much smoother for the next time I come in. This saved me from overpaying and or getting a bill later and fainting. Also, it saved her Co workers work by handling it herself promptly in stead of letting someone else do it later. She made me feel welcome and in good hands. Thanks ladies all of yall, and a special shout out to Alacia. You Rock! Such good bed side manner

Have been a patient there for many years I called today to schedule an appointment are routine checkup I told the lady that answered the phone that I had been with Chrissy for a while she quickly told me that Chrissy had not been there for a while. I had called to make the appointment with a different doctor and she quickly told me that I would need to call the Joshua office I told her I was not interested in going back to Joshua office would like to see a doctor in Cleburne office. She was not helpful at all and was very rude. She told me it was not that easy to see a new doctor. Now I am wondering if I really want to stay with FMA after all these years If all of the staff will be like this. Her name was Cindy

The doctors and nurses are amazing. Personable and knowledgeable. They always take the time to listen and cover all the bases. My kids even love them and have "favorite" nurses. Sometimes it can be hard to get through to the front desk, but we often email or call the nurses line. We've moved often and had several doctors and we love and trust our family with Family Medicine.

The staff of FMA has always been great to me. Ashton Long FNP is by far the best caregiver I have ever experienced. She called me daily for 3 days after my having been seen in the office when I was having severe back problems. I have never had medical service like that. She never rushes through her office visits. The ladies in the lab, x-ray, and Tarianna in the injection room are also great, and the office staff have always been very helpful. Kelly Fech DPT, Annie, and Brooke in the PT section of FMA are the best. They take a very personal interest in each of their patients and really customize their treatment to the individual. These people are true heroes in my humble opinion. They have stayed on the job during this pandemic and really take the time to get to know, and provide excellent care for, their patients.

The faculty here is tremendously rude except for a couple.

I called to schedule an appointment for my husband who was not feeling well and they tried to charge me $166. That is way too much for a simple visit. It was $90 for the office itself but only $20 for the actual visit with the doctor.

I have been going to this clinic for the past few months. I have Dr Morton and couldn’t be happier. Dr Morton has a great sense of humor, cares about your health, and actually listens to your input. The staff at this office has also been very kind and considerate. I’m typically seen very quickly and never left waiting for long periods. Highly recommend this place.

Just moved, looking for a new clinic and doctor. I read the reviews and this place seams horrible. I’m so sorry y’all went through so much trouble, y’all even spent months to years giving this clinic a chance.I don’t have months/years to fight and beg to be a patient. I need a doctor and clinic who wants me as a patient, a happy! patient on day one, all the way up until I die.Thank y’all for the heads up.

I would give a negative rating if I could. Zero care when THEY messed up on billing. Supposed to bill employer, not insurance. Basically said it wasn't their problem. Now we have to FIGHT with biller to correct the issue. Person couldn't even stop chewing on food to speak with us. Completely unprofessional. DO NOT recommend. Stay away, far, far away.

Dr Johnson and his staff are awesome. I always get in quickly. He is so attentive to his patients and listens. He doesn’t rush you through. His nurses and PA’s are awesome as well. He is proactive with the care I receive. I only have good things to say about Dr Johnson and staff.
