Staff go way above and beyond to make guests feel at home, and the service is wonderful. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, with room 401 becoming a go‑to for many. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, antique shops, and a cafe next door that offers more substantial breakfast options when the hotel breakfast is limited. It is family friendly, with the hotel working to keep whole families on the same floor. Parking is convenient and monitored, and the location is in the middle of downtown, making walkability easy to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Guests note the old building’s real charm, but some have experienced refund issues when booking through third parties like Expedia; the hotel recommends booking directly to avoid delays.

Great location and hotel, but the new management for the Cleburne Railroaders is just awful, and home attendance is waaay down due to new policies. I hope the incompetence of the management of the CLEBURNE RAILROADERS baseball ⚾️ team doesn't hurt this historic hotel !!! SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL!!!
