,we bought a new lawnmower, used once, tried to use it again. It wouldn't work, primer button wouldn't work. Got it started finally but died. $375.00 later, no lawnmower, home Depot wouldn't help with it or anything. They said it can't be returned because it was over 30 days, well, we weren't informed of that. It has a year warranty on it but they can't do anything. What a rip-off not told about the 30 days or about gas powered items, not being returned because of manufacturing problems. So I'm teed off about this. Home Depot was the place we've bought a lot from. And they can't help with the problem, it's like, oh well, we got your money , good luck with your item

I went in to purchase a refrigerator no one greeted me or asked if I needed anything. I had to flag someone down who replied, "what do ya need?" He did come back to tell me there was a lady with someone and would be down. She never showed. I walked over towards the counters where there was a lady there chatting with someone, never spoke to me or asked if I needed anything either. Since there was no one else in sight I just ended up leaving and going to Lowe's. Employees need a training on customer service because apparently they are clueless on it.

For many many years, I continue to try and give Home Depot a try. I've never been a fan of them since the staff seems to always be doing stuff and can rarely give a smile or even and "Hi". I've been to several locations in Oklahoma and Texas and they are all the same. Dirty, dank, not bright or inviting at all, everything is always a mess. The landscaping/nursery area is the worst!! It's a nursery slash junk storage. It's like the kids have just stuff all the unwanted or unnecessary stuff in the corner for someone else to mess with. It's not even placed neatly, it's just tossed in the area, no effort to make it even look somewhat presentable.Last visit we went to the nursery, it was no different. Was a complete mess. We went to look for wood to add shelves to the laundry room and pantry and what they had was limited, and what was in stock was water stained! Trying to push bad product, it's sad. To me, it's just an ugly uninviting unwelcoming place that doesn't always keep things in stock.

The staff here always has all the answers when we come in to get help. They are so friendly and when I couldn't find an item on its home shelf, they scoured alternate locations and top stock until the found it. Great service every time.

Too many people waiting in line and 1 cashier open. I didn't see any of the regular cashiers open either, just the self checkout. The lady at the self checkout is about as useful as a dish rag as a parachute.

When you look at your year over year comps and wonder why you are losing business, don't blame the economy or the government. Blame your lack of wanting to take care of the customer TODAY. When you are out of stock, sell the display. It's that simple. What good is a display when there is no inventory. Guess Amazon wins again. I tried to give you business but your employee and her supervisor said no.

We asked for some help getting a miter saw unlocked so we could purchase it. We waited 30 minutes with no one coming to unlock it. As we left, there were 4 employees at the contractor checkout standing around shooting the bull. We went to Lowe's much better customer service.

We went to the Home Depot in Cleburne, and it's the poorest service I've ever had. Staff look at you and just walk away, horrible customer service. We brought my dad who is a veteran and they refused to give him the discount because he did not have his card. So, we left and we spent over 1,000 at Lowe's and they gladly gave him his discount and people helped with smiling faces. Save yourself and GO TO LOWE'S!!!!!!!!

2.5 hours to pull down some more 2x4s is pretty ridiculous, and no they weren't busy. 100 boards and $500 and no help loading until there as 10 boards left. McCoys is just down the road and amazing customer service. That will price match a lot of HD prices. HD customer service has been declining for a while now. But I've had it. It shouldn't take an act of congress to get someone on a forklift. Everyone in the store give off the vibe that they don't care, kind-of like Walmart. Maybe the whole world is going to crap.
