Way too expensive. You can buy a new starter or alternator for what they want to fix it

Diagnosed and repaired my 2007 Dodge Caravan alternator perfectly. Truly happy with price and quality of work. Highly recommend this place. Man who did the work has been there 19 years and surely knows what he's doing.

Wish I had learned of this place 20 years ago! A friend recommended I take my alternator to be rebuilt instead of wasting money at a parts house. Quick turnaround, reasonably priced and included a 90 day warranty with receipt. They also rebuild starters and sell auto batteries.

I called the shop and asked if an 08 transmission will fit my 09 and they told me yes. I ordered the trans and had it delivered. I get a phone call that the trans will not fit. When I went to pick the trans up it was still strapped with the papers on it. I don't even think they took the old trans off. I prepaid the labor and asked Wesley Smith for a refund and he told me no. I did not pay for yall to take a trans off and put the same one back on. It turns out that only 09-11 will interchange and not 08 at all. Smiths made the mistake and they want to blame me, which I find funny because I was on the phone with them when I placed the order. I decided to sue them for the 500 labor, 200 shipping, 100 restocking fee, and court costs. I will see you in court! DO NOT GO HERE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND A RIP OFF!!!!

My alternator went out. Pricing new ones had me researching how difficult it would be to rebuild one at home.Thankfully I didn't have to.Smith's Auto Electrical in Cleveland rebuilt my alternator for less than half the price of a new one and it was ready for pick up in just a few hours. They were super friendly also!I would definitely reccomend their services!

If you love throwing money out the window, then this is the place for you. These people are CROOKS AND THEIVES. They had my daughters Mini Cooper and charged us almost $2000 for “fixing” it. When we picked it up, it was after hours and they were already closed for the day. It did not start correctly and died again within 20 minutes so we had to have the car towed BACK to them the following day! They kept the car for SIX WEEKS total and still did not fix it! We have a Bouncie GPS on that car and informed them we had PROOF they never test drove the car after their so called “repair” and they LIED saying they did and it was working fine for them. They never called to give us updates on the car…we expected they were busy as they had an entire parking lot of cars so we didn’t bother them and it’s summer so she hasn’t been commuting back and forth for school and hasn’t needed it. When we finally called today to get updates Carl was rude and unprofessional and said “he finally started to try and work on it today and figure out what was wrong with it because the car has been in his way”.Services: Check engine light diagnostic
