Great course. You feel like you're playing in the Carolinas! Old school bar and pro shop which is like a breath of fresh air ! It's a bit of a gem to be honest

Excellent and challenging course. Very relaxing round due to adequate spacing between groups. Stock your cooler before starting because the drink cart only came by once in 18 holes, we later found her hanging out in the clubhouse enjoying the AC….

Food was ok, and is very slow in coming. Don't go if a little busy because it will take less time to drive into town and back. Service is horrible. Never had worse.

We were there for 4 days and enjoyed it. Fairways and greens were very good. Some tee boxes were spotty but that to be expected with the weather we’ve had. My one concern is how rude and dry the started at the first hole was. I’m sure the course knows the way he acts but it’s really unacceptable. They want you to play in under 4 hours but overbook the course and then complain when pace is slow. I play and but I also understand that when you show up to a destination resort you have to expect slow play especially with the course layout. All in all I would rate the weekend a solid 4 out of 5.

OK folks, let's tap the brakes on Pine Dunes. It's an interesting layout with some beautiful holes but it is overpriced for the value. First things first, the rates are wrong on their website. When questioned the shop attendant said "the internet is not my job". Really, in this day and age you can't keep your website (main form of advertising) current? Next, I know it is winter but the teeboxes are so muddy, slick and devoid of grass it is like trying to hit off of ice. Here's a tip, take some sand or smooth the bunkers better. Even if your shot barely rolled in you were guaranteed a near fried egg making bunker shots nearly impossible. In conclusion, my friends and I have been coming to PD for years but sadly we agreed it might be time to scratch them off our list. Pity, this could be a great place. Ok owner, is that better? Do you deny your prices don't match your website? I played with another person who made the tee time. Just like your employee was incompetent on the fee, he also was at getting names.

Be careful when you book a stay n play. Be very clear up front on the total price you're being charged. They'll quote you for the room and wait until you're there to charge you for the golf. Read Google reviews and pay attention to the owners response to the bad reviews. This will tell you all you need to know. The positive? The bar and restaurant staff - they are awesome. If they lived in my town, I'd hire them immediately.

Very nice. Clean and well maintained. Club house is small. Food is alright but not anything you would go there to eat specifically

Double eagle condos were fantastic. There are some dry spots on the course. Blue tee boxes were in pretty bad shape. Greens were a bit of a let down. Will continue to come back. Hoping they double down on the course upkeep and it will continue to shine amongst Texas public courses.

True resort course with no homes or buildings - just golf and nature. Course was short but challenging with great greens and the bunkers were just redone. Will play again and would like to stay and play with a group a friends.

Overall not bad for a golf trip. It is specifically golf. The course is in great shape, great layout and great setting. The service was excellent. They typically shut the bar down about 7 but kept it open for us. We had a group of 48 golfers. The food was not bad, the lodging was not something you would write home about or want to do again. I understand there are some new digs that are about finished or finished. We did not get to experience those. I suggest if you go ask to use the new lodging accommodations. The course is in the middle of no-where which is good if you are looking to do some bonding with you golf buddies. Overall not bad and I would visit again if the lodging are the new cabins.
