We came up here from Houston last year for a couple nights and it was a great experience. The owner Ms. Currie was very nice when booking on the phone, and the rental itself was an excellent deal - cheaper than most hotels but a lot better since you get a full kitchen and living room, and much cleaner too. You can call to pay via card, or leave cash at the end of your stay.
I particularly recommend staying here if you want a "base camp" for hiking in the National Forest, which has several trailheads just a few minutes away. There's also a small grocery store a couple minutes down the street.

Very nice and cozy place, stayed there a few months back. Great value for the amenities, there are few things to do in area but you need a car as it’s a small town.

Love it, love it, love it!.
Rooms: The rooms are very quaint and it will feel as if your in your own hotel building, everything you need is literally just a few steps away. The laundry is packed with things the laundry mat does not have.
Nearby activities: There's everything nearby, parks the damm liquor store, there are many small town feels that you just have to experience it one restaurant, one gas station deli and one smile at a time, it's a friendly town, so feel free to put on a smile and meet people and let loose, your still so young!.
Safety: I might have seen maybe two cars pulled over in the time I've been here. It's safe, quiet, you can move here and get a head start on enjoying your retirement here with the locals ready to welcome you and the children still being childish and playful. Neighbors actually help you with the things you need, if you need.
Walkability: There's always a challenge for the body to get active, get out there and stroll the streets and walk into a store that has what you need and maybe what you might need in the future. Take a walk on your safe side of the street and see the cars yield to you as you stroll to the store. If you have met someone here and they happen to see you out walking, be ready to cross the road and have a ride you didn't expect to the store or back to your place of comfort.
Noteworthy details: There's a great history coming back to life, as if it rose from the dead. Coldspring Sunday homes are the stepping stones to getting you into the small town of Coldspring.

This hidden gem worked our perfect for our trip to visit the 2 National Forrest in the area. The cottage is clean and well equipped for our family. TV and Wi-fi plus a full kitchen setup to cook with the most essential items-coffee maker! Modern efficiency is a great description with charm and cozy feels. The porch invites you to enjoy coffee, sunset and sunrise. This will be our spot of choice when in the area. Linda the owner was such a great introduction to the property over the phone and made making reservations simple. Highly recommend the Sunday House in Coldsprings as a great place to stay. Beds were comfy and bathroom was great with good pressure. All you need after spending the day in the beautiful Forrest.Rooms: Open room with pull out couch for our sonNearby activities: Great restaurant options, grocery stores close and beautiful National Forrest and water activitiesNoteworthy details: The porch is perfect to enjoy the fantastic fall weather.

I stayed at the Sunday Houses back in 2015 and fell in love with those little houses. At the time of typing this post, I'm sitting on the couch of house 79. I will be back again. Oh, I can't forget about the young lady, Linda Currie, was sweet and kind.. God Bless and much love from the Bennett family.

Stayed in the green house for a trail run. It is very cozy and clean. They decorated the houses for Christmas which was a nice touch. Linda was very accommodating with our arrival and departure times. The heating and hot water were good and they provided what we needed to cook what we wanted to. There's not much to do in the town, but I would return to stay.

We stayed in the Sunday Houses over a weekend during a bicycle tour. Linda was so friendly and easy to work with. We ended up extending our stay by a day because of bad weather. We made a quick call and arranged to stay one more day, which we were happy to do. The houses are clean, roomy, and a way better alternative to a hotel. Such a fun find!

It was very clean, even smelled clean, it was perfect for our mini Anniversary getaway! A small town with very friendly people and good food! Very quiet unlike motels. Thank you Ms. Linda! We plan on coming back soon. We stayed 10/17 - 10/20/22
