These people tore up all my brand new water lines and electric lines and saying they r not responsible because they wasn’t exposed when I sent them all blueprints for property and you could see a straight line of water spickets coming out of ground 2 ft high with cups on top showing where they were.This company is absolutely awful.Worst electric service I’ve ever had

I have lived across the country, been all over the world. Rural and high pop urban areas and this is by far the biggest joke for an energy provider I’ve ever seen. Twice in a month they have failed to properly inform anyone of power outage delays, it’s the slowest service I’ve ever encountered with getting it back up. App does a poor job giving you any form of updates and the customer support line is no better. We live in the most technologically advanced country and can’t even keep the power on after a baby little storm

Given the fact SHECO supplies power to a heavily forested area prone to violent storms I think they do a bang-up job of keeping the lights on and love the fact they are a non-profit COOP, and they aren't a part of the Texas Grid with its massive failures

I went to the Cold Spring Texas location. I met with Ms. Denise. She was very polite and even took the time to guide me on other resources in the area being disabled and my children having special needs and gave me history of this electric company being a co-op community for the community. I enjoyed her nice personality definitely being from.a completely different area. I am a country girl at heart and I enjoyed just connecting my service with Sam Houston Electric Company. Thank you Ms. Denise for your time, patience, and expertise at the ColdSpring Location.

So far they have been great… compared to Center Point Energy in Houston… SHECO is amazing!SHECO routed underground power to my home without a charge.They have been responsive and professional.As far as rural electric company, the opinion of my builder and myself… 5 stars.

Bad communication I was ripped off I had employees tell me I should have received a refund check and then another employee tell me that I shouldn't have ..basically started new service and was charged for it when my uncle also started new service and was not charged ..we had the same Install with the same company sam houston electric.. yet we were charged...

This is the worse electric company I ever had to deal with. $350 electric bill and turn on my heater two days.This is a monopoly with this thieves. This is the only electric company that is able to service my area, otherwise I would of moved to another electric company.
