Awesome food and service. Best burgers in Texas and breakfast is outstanding also. Lots of neat stuff to look at in the gift area

Great experience, just like an old-time soda shop/drug store should be. The burger and shake were both great.

Owl Drug has changed some over the years, but the food is still good soda fountain food! The boutique is cute and loaded with very nice gift items, and of course the drug store is refreshingly NOT like a CVS.

Great food! Beautiful gifts for every occasion!! Customer service is excellent! It has the old fashion fountain and diner. They are the original soda fountain, counter seats and booths. But if you want to eat get there before or after the eating crowd or you'll be getting it to go! I think Elvis used to eat there. Anyway, a great old fashioned drug store.

WHAT A TREAT!! Stopped by passing through Coleman on a road trip and this is truly a gem. Straightforward, well made diner fare. Suuuuper hospitable staff made it such a great experience. Note the updated menus I'm posting- bit different from the older ones on here from 2019. We loved the "Owl Mess" and the very reasonable portions of everything. The shop here is so well curated with cute baby clothes, high quality bake ware (Nordicware!), great lotions and candles. Loved the retro soda fountain like a step back in time. Thank you!

Great burger! They know just how to handle the patty - it was loosely packed, so it stays tender and juicy. So many expensive burger joints miss this basic technique, and it doesn't matter how creative you get with the flavors and toppings when this foundation is missed. We had the 1923 burger, which is a special burger they created to celebrate their anniversary. Great flavors, the patty was smash-style, so it had lots of nooks and crannies to get browned bits. Fantastic. The chocolate banana malt was a little thin--too much milk--but overall this was a great place to eat, and a great atmosphere. Folks were all super friendly!

So fun! Actual pharmacy and then some!!! Good selection on the menu and the food was excellent. Best find on our most recent road-trip. If you are passing through Coleman (before 1:00 pm) check out this hidden gem!

FANTASTIC hole in the wall diner built into an old fashioned small town drug store! Diamond in the rough, DON'T DRIVE BY, stop in and you'll thank yourself later. Get the 1923 burger or the Owlvis burger!

Made the drive from Brownwood to Coleman to try the highly acclaimed Owl Burger and believe me it's not worth the drive. It's definitely a nothing burger absolutely nothing special. Couldn't hardly find the cheese or the bacon. The bun was not even toasted and the waffle fries came out average OK but nothing great ordered a milkshake for $4.50 and in a small parfait glass for $4.50 or so and it was OK but nothing great so don't waste several hours on a trip for nothing special go over there Cattle Drive café for a much better dining experience while you're in Coleman. My wife and I split the burger and with the four dollar tip spent $25 and I have to say it was absolutely a big disappointment.

Being reared in Brownwood back in the 60s/70s, you can imagine my surprise when I visited Coleman's growing "mid-century" main street. We started our downtown walk at Owl Drug with a fountain drink, then came back the next day for a hamburger. I can't speak to the "pharmacy" part of the business, but the food and gift shop are terrific!
