I purchased a grill on 10/22/25 for $599. Today, less than two weeks later, I noticed the exact same model listed in your ACE app for $549. I returned to the store to request a price adjustment — a reasonable ask given the short time frame — but was told that your policy only honors price changes within two days.
While I understand policies exist, this kind of rigid customer service doesn’t reflect well on ACE. A $50 difference within 10 days should have been an easy opportunity to show goodwill and keep a loyal customer satisfied.
Instead, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and will be sure to share my experience with others. Customer service isn’t just about following a rulebook — it’s about making decisions that build trust and long-term relationships.

I have spent a couple grand here. The selection is good, so is inventory. I like how ace does the coupon promotions. But I won’t be spending another dime here.
A couple weeks ago the owner called me “spoiled” while I was checking out trying to imply I either used too many coupons; or who knows why like I was born from a silver spoon or something.
The way he said it seemed to have a negative connotation, he immediately tried to correct himself but I think it is weird to call your customers spoiled. My wife was also insulted by something he said but I thought he was just joking previously.
The staff here are really helpful, but I also seconding other reviews do not like the way he talks to them in front of customers. Either way he was the spoiled one with all the business I gave him until now. It’s all good plenty of places to shop elsewhere.

The new management that is in this location is terrible, he was extremely rude to his employees and this speaks alot about customer service if the employees are treated bad i am sure customers are as well, I will never shop there again.

I met the new owner. They are no longer closed on Sundays and do not support their staff like they used to. I will not be shopping under this new non-american ownership.

Not alot of hardware! They only had 4 3/4 pvc ball valves. This is an ace close to a rich neighborhood. It's mostly garden and decor.

First time visiting this business. And let me tell you how satisfied and happy i was . Mr. Robert went beyond his call of duty to make sure we found exactly what we needed it for the plumbing project we had . He was very helpful and polite, please visit this store next time you have a plumbing project 😀.

This Ace location is extremely customer focused. I purchased a Traeger Ironwood XL and it required some warranty work. The Traeger help line was not helpful however once things got into the hands of Delaney at ACE in College Station things started happening and my Traeger is up and running like new.

These people are crooks! New management took over in January 2025. Took some damaged window screens in for repair, was quoted a price for materials & labor, had to pay said services in advance of work. When I went to pickup repaired windows screen they tried to charge for two extra hours of labor @ $20 per hour. Told them that was BS, refused to pay up, walked out the store. Will never go back.

So glad to have ACE HARDWARE restocked and ready and prepared for shopping. The employees are so helpful - they are ready to lift, seek, find…. Hardworking. The store was restocked and under new management and it is terrific! June 27, 1025 GRAND REOPENING.

Love our local Ace Hardware! I go here for all of my BBQ supplies needs whenever I’m about to host a BBQ or I need to restock on my BBQ essentials! The staff are all super friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!

The store manager was amazing and help me get everything I needed she was completely amazing, I went in yesterday to get a few things for my grill and I was so happy with all the help I received. The cashier was also so nice and sweet when I checked out. Their customer service is definitely top notch and will continue to shop with wonderful people like that. Let’s just say that the store manager went above and beyond for me.

This Ace Hardware Store is the best one I've ever been to. The store manager, Kat, was the most helpful person in the ENTIRE local area and she helped me find bolts that would work for me. I was looking for a very specific bolt and this Ace Harware Store is the only store in the area that had what would work for what I needed, and I cannot thank Kat enough for being so gracious with her time in answering all my questions, helping me look for everything I needed, and just overall being so sweet, kind, and professional. I am SUPER happy that I went to this store and I'm grateful for awesome people like Kat and the staff. I highly recommend coming to this store to do your shopping. Amazing.
