Monday evening, June 13, my husband broke down on the side of the road in College Station. I was able to get on the computer & reserve a car for him. We were so thankful Alamo was still open & had availability. He had his truck towed & got to Alamo to pick up his reserved vehicle. He was told they did not have any availability & nothing could be done. Yes, they knew he was able to reserve on the internet. Basically, tough luck. He was stuck again. I will NEVER use Alamo. And I would suggest you don't either. Try another car rental, one that cares & tries to help.

the experience was frustratingI arrive at 2:45 pm and wait 15 minutes for the person attending I checked my reservation, she ask for my passport because I was a foreigner, which with my Driving license had always been enough to rent. I returned home and asked her to have everything ready to speed up the process, because I had a medical appointment when I returned 30 minutes later, she ask me for everything, it took her 30 more minutes to sterilize the vehicle, she pass my Credit card, she did everything and at the end, she asked me for the visa to be in USA, which she not asked for it before and I have it in another passport Conclusion: I missed a medical appointment, because in total I past 2 hours in that process, I could not rent the vehicle and I lost the money because I rented it through an application that does not return the money Vero frustrating i don't recommend alamo at college station to anyone

Worst and absolutely most deplorable and adolescent like business service ever. Currently stranded with out a car for three days. Flight missed. Extra hotel costs!!! No return calls, no car brought to me or told where I can pick another up. Spent at least three hours at four different times over the weekend trying to get results. If Alamo thinks I will be paying for a car I couldn't drive? Think again. I will be sure to spread my story wide throughout my business community friends.

Counter staff were polite but not efficient. We were short on time and were given a car that smelled like a wet dog had been locked inside for several days. The car did not get better even after driving with the windows down for several days. I advised the staff when I returned it but they made no apology, effort, or offer of discount when asked. They just gave me the business card of a "manager" who I emailed and got no response. My kid is starting at A&M and I will be choosing a different service, even if it costs more, over the next four years.
