Not climate controlled. It’s always HOT! Way too expensive, no cameras, no dumpsters, no one’s ever in the office, and there’s rodents.We moved over to Extra Space. Better prices and much nicer. There’s also always someone in the office to help if we have questions.Beware that if you move out mid month, they don’t pro rate your monthly bill. You have to pay for the whole month, whether you stay the whole month or not.

UPDATE8/23/23NEVER RECIEVED REFUND. Spoke with a CSR asked about my refund I was told i would be getting along with a credit on my account. At first the CSR said she would give me the refund. Then came back said her manager is the one who did it so she could not refund my card. Asked to speak to manager said she couldn't do that either. So being told I would get my money back from the storage fees i paid and also a credit to my account is not what happen. They used the money I had already paid for the first storage and the Second one and use that to credit my account till October. THAT IS NOT A REFUND OR A CREDIT FROM THEM. So even though I had paid up till Oct I moved my stuff else where cause LYING to customers and not keeping your word is the WORSE thst any company can do. I would expect more from A VETERAN OWNED COMPANY, WHICH I AM ALSO A MARINE VETERAN.Rented a storage unit online got storage access code and storage unit number thru email. Drove 3 and1/2 hours to college station to put my sons belongings in storage till he moves in his apartment at the end of next month. I get there and storage has a lock on it. Called customer service said they don'tknow why it has one on it but they cannot do anything and they do not have any other units available at either location.smh8/1/23Update on my review... i was contacted by a representative from Sparebox storages and they apologized for my situation. They took ownership of there mistake and made good on it also. I really appreciate that they reached out but more that They are true to there word. Thank you For reaching out and making it all right. Great customer service .

Had to call Spare Box to get my unit number talked to Shoyan! Really nice guy an had me taken care of in mins. Very nice guy!

I have a long review to post but g**gle is filtering out my long post. Their autopay enrollment at sign up is broken and their customer service stuff doesn't listen(Except Shanoya 10 out of 10 for you). And you'll know for sure when you get a 2nd unit.

Spare box customer service is terrible, don’t bother renting a medium to large size climate controlled unit. Your door will be about 2 feet wide and not able to accommodate getting your belongings in or out.

Eh. Nobody actually works at the facility. The only thing in the office is a kiosk where you can pay your bill and a vending machine for purchasing a lock. Smart for cutting cost. Not smart for providing any level of customer service. Need a lock cut? Pay us $25 then we will come out like a DirecTV repair guy, some time in the next 3 days.
