I am a current resident and the 6 months I have lived here so far have been treacherous. In the middle of September when it was over 100 degrees, the 3rd floor AC went out twice, leaving us in sweltering 87 degree rooms for a grand total of 96 hours before any help was extended either time. Our AC on the first floor has also flooded our living room, leaving us with no option but to throw out our area rug. Many of the drawers in the kitchen are loose and get stuck, and its been that way since move in day. It's become a fun game of "Will the drawer open today?" every time I go to get a fork. Today marks the second water outage that has been in effect since 9AM and now been extended until 10PM. The previous one lasted 8 hours. I haven't seen a utility truck at the property at any point when I left today. I'm probably more likely to find a unicorn first. The Wi-fi has gone out multiple times, often for hours with zero communication. This is a common theme, because when anything happens there is very little communication offered by the office. We are also being required to move out for the majority of 3 days in the middle of the school year, some of us during finals week, so that they can install new floors, because God knows why they can't do it in the summer when a majority of the residents go home. That would make too much sense for the small brains behind the management of the Callaway Villas. To any potential resident: if extraterrestrials stumbled upon Callaway Villas as the last remnant of human existence, they'd likely think, "Well, no wonder they didn't make it." Please save your furniture, preserve your sanity, and find an abode where human rights are more than just a myth.

This is the highest rent I have ever paid in College Station, and for that I expected a higher standard of living. I’ve experienced the opposite. It started with some mix up happening a week before move in, changing my housing assignment to academic lease housing despite my full term lease. I am expected to live here until May, and then move into my original assignment. This was fine with me in the beginning, what they failed to mention though was that my move out would be May 10, the day before graduation. I can’t move before or after, it has to be May 10. I have asked to speak with the manager about this and heard nothing. On top of that, our refrigerator is tilted so badly (even after maintenance tried to fix it) that items fall off if put on top of the fridge. This wouldn’t be an issue if there was any storage available in the kitchen. There isn’t even a pantry. It’s nothing like the model at all. The walls are paper thin, you can actually hear what your neighbors are saying verbatim. The internet goes out regularly for hours to days on end with no explanation. The water has been shut off multiple times for longer than originally expected (the last time was 13 hours). Appliances are outdated and the apartment was filthy upon move in. If you have a job, forget about picking up packages in a timely manner as they will notify you of their arrival 3-4 minutes before close.

Terrible place to live at. Absolutely horrible communication on what they plan on doing in our apartments. Frequent wifi and water outages. Too expensive for the tardy managerial and poor services provided.

I had problems with my bathroom and I put in the work order yesterday evening. These two very nice and kind guys from maintenance crew came and fixed my bathroom after hours. They were so kind and helpful!

Howdy! I have been living here for a semester and have really enjoyed the apartment. My favorite thing is the maintenance, they have an amazing and caring crew that are very quick to fix issues. This is so important and has made my experience so much better as they are readily available and good at what they do. They even helped me put my spare tire on when I blew a tire. Lovely people!

Can't see the apartment numbers from the parking lot. Delivery drivers always have a problem here. Get it fixed you get 5 stars.

Not too bad of a place to live. A bit outdated but works just fine.Everyone is pretty friendly except for Rose who is very condescending when talking to her.
