Came here to buy a gaming PC setup for my son for Christmas. I have no idea what to buy or what I need for this setup because I'm only used to buying a full normal PC setup. Apparently, gaming PC setups are sold separately such as the tower, monitor, speakers, etc, annnnd it's pricey. Anyways, sales associate, Andy was very friendly, patiently, and extremely helpful. I had a budget of $2,000 so my mind was set on spending around this price, but he was able to find lingering Black Friday deals for each item that I needed and saved me almost $1,000. My son is just starting off and I know he's into simple mediocre graphic games such as Roblox and Minecraft so this was a solid starter computer that he'll use for years. I was excited so I had his computer setup early and it works amazing and fast. Andy also helped me find a Samsung tablet for my wife which was also on sale.Again, Andy was amazing so I'd recommend seeking him out for assistance. Parking lot is huge so you should have no problem finding parking.

I was just impressed with Bobby! He helped me so much with my new router! He definitely deserves a raise for his knowledge, patience, and professionalism! I downloaded yelp just so the GM of this establishment knows I mean it when I say that he went above and beyond! Definitely helping very much with y'all sales goals!

Good luck trying to reach anyone by phone. All calls are routed through a national office that cannot answer such basic questions as if a technician is on hand in the local store. I guess Best Buy expects customers to drive 30 minutes to find out someone isn't able to help them. I am going to drive down to Houston and buy at the Apple Store--and Best Buy can kiss off $3000

The Geek Squad guy told me the cost to repair my laptop screen would be based on the purchase price. Seriously! The estimate was more than half the cost paid for the laptop when it was new 3 years ago. He also estimated at least 4+ weeks for the repair. Seems GS's purpose is to push customers into purchasing a new computer instead of fixing perfectly good devices for a reasonable cost. Another local shop fixed it for $325 (as opposed to GS's $500-900+) and did so in less than a week.

They quoted me $120 on a dashcam installation with almost a week long expectation. They also tried to charge me extra for a fuse tap kit that came with the dashcam itself but wasn't "quality standard". I did this a year ago on my own in about 20 minutes and it still works. All you really need is the tap kit, a multimeter, a screwdriver/mini wrench, and your car manual. The one that came with my dashcam sufficed.

I needed to save info from a working computer...asked Best Buy Geek Squad to help. They gave the computer back to me no longer working and could not retrieve the info. And today, 7 months later, I find that they charged me for a Total Tech membership for $199. IT WAS NOT AUTHORIZED AND NEVER USED!!! THEY WON'T REFUND ME!! And there's no way to get through the recordings and international representatives. No one at the store is reachable.

Employees that work there don't care to help you at all. they are only there to draw a paycheck. very unfriendl, won't look you in the face because they don't want to make eye contact because then they would have to help you. not sure what they discus in the store meetings but it's not customer service that's for sure!

DO NOT order items online, it will be late or not at all. Ordered an item online, it has already been a week late and the staff is unable to give me an ETA - they could not even confirm if it was on the way. Spend time & money elsewhere.

My computer recharger was broken and I could not start the computer to get the data off . So, I went to the Best Buy Geek Squad. They kept the computer for a few days and then told me that it would have to be sent to HQ in order to get the data. That would cost several hundred dollars plus shipping, etc. Fortunately for me, our IT guy told me that all I had to do is remove the hard drive and put it in a hard drive reader which costs very little. So, either the Geek Squad is incompetent or unethical or both. I will never go back.

Abysmal customer service. Orders always come out late, or not at all. You call their local phone number and you get Best Buy's national call center. Dealing with their automated call service is like being in purgatory. You finally get a person on the phone, and they transfer you to your local store, then the call disconnects . Rinse and repeat. Never buying a single thing from Best Buy ever again.

We bought a new sound bar tonight and specifically before purchasing we asked the employee, Koltan, if it came with an HDMI cord or if we needed to purchase one. He ensured us that the sound bar came with one. Sure enough, we go home to set up the sound bar, no HDMI cord to be found.
