Most of all, I want to thank my stylist who is the manager, I apologize for forgetting your name, but I do know that you are the manager. I want to give a warm blessing to her and thank you for taking care of me, and not least to ALL her staff as well, on Sunday April 28, 2025, I had an EMERGENCY dilemma with my hair. I've gone to another salon to get a hair cut on Saturday (the day before) at celebrity spa, this person that claims to be a great stylist had chopped off my hair into different lengths n cuts, I've shown her a picture of what I wanted but she did me dirty. I had shoulder length hair before it got destroyed, it took me a YEAR to grow that beautiful length, because IM A CANCER SURVIVOR, looking at that cut I cried my eyes out. So then I went back to celebrity spa to get this resolved, no help. Well any who I called great clips n told them my situation n when I got there I even showed them what a hot mess I got. Well to the manager stylist, ya she did her thing to fix me up, it may not be what I wanted, but just to say she has back hope to my head. And so to the ladies at GREAT CLIPS, THANK YOU SO MUCH From THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, and I will return back to ya ONLY. and I would recommend this establishment to anyone. Thank you ladies for all your encouragement and helping me out to feel great.

I had a frustrating experience checking in for my hair cut at GreatClips at Tower Pointe. After receiving a text message saying 'your turn will be in 15 minutes', I arrived at the saloon within a mere 10 minutes. However, when I proceeded to check in with the stylist, she claimed that my name was not showing on their system. I presented her with the text message from 10 minutes prior, but she insisted that it was not there.
Things took a turn for the worse when the stylist, Valerie, jumped into the conversation and became defensive. She bluntly told me that I should have called the corporate office to resolve the issue, which left me feeling disrespected and patronized. Her tone was not only unprofessional but also hurtful, especially considering that my two young children and I have been loyal customers for nearly 8 years.
As a frequent tipper who has shown appreciation to every single stylist in the past, I was taken aback by Valerie's behavior. Her dismissive and rude attitude left a sour taste, I felt so bad that I've decided not to step into that saloon forever.
This incident has left a lasting impression on me, and I've decided to share my experience with others as a warning. No one deserves to be spoken to in such a condescending manner, regardless of the situation. I implore Great Clips to take this feedback seriously and train their staff on providing better customer service.

I have been coming to the Great Clips Towerpoint location for over four years now. I live in Houston, TX but only come to town and have my hair cut at Great Clips because of their manager, Valerie Mendez. I only ask for Valerie (the rest of the staff is also incredible) because I trust her and she has been cutting my hair the longest. As an attorney living in Houston I need my hair to be in decent shape for court. I have tried several Great Clips locations in Houston, TX and none can compare to the one at Towerpoint.

What a rip off. I injured my shoulder several months ago and I haven’t been able to wash my hair. So I have been going to Great Clips and getting it shampooed and blow dried. EVERY TIME except for today they charged me $8. I always tipped them $20. Today I go in and they charged me $48 dollars!! $40 for the blow dry and $8 for the shampoo and I brought my own shampoo!! Of course I was only told that it would be an additional $40 for the blow dry after they were already washing my hair. I had no other choice to pay it. Anywhere else in College Station and Bryan you can get a wash and blowout for around $30 and those are higher end salons. To say the least I will not be back. That was pretty shady of the stylist to do that after my hair was already wet and she didn’t even do that good of a job!!!
