I don’t know which pharmacist I just spoke to, but after being told initially to wait 1.5 hours for my Amoxicillin prescription to be filled, she came to the window and was immediately accusatory. She refused to provide my prescription refill because my MD “is in Virginia” and it’s a “high dosage” (it’s 1/4 the amount of a maximum dosage). Patients receive remote treatment all the time and the pharmacy already filled the initial prescription so this is beyond confusing and I am now without my medication until my doctor is available to call them. I was very taken aback by this pharmacists passive aggressiveness and lack of professionalism. Medical gaslighting is exhausting, and invalidating a patient through their prescription refill pickup is unacceptable.

Not to invalidate the bad reviews, but I've been filling prescriptions monthly here for ~3 years with good communication and timely service (often prescriptions are filled early). I'm leaving a review though because today the staff found+executed a workaround after my psychiatrist was not responding to their calls. I had told them I was leaving tomorrow, so they made sure to try to get something figured out today. Made me realize I had never left a review!

This has been the most infuriating process to try and get my medication. I’ve waited for over 3 weeks and now I’m completely out and anytime I try to check again I get the met with the most useless and incompetent customer service of any pharmacy I’ve ever used. Sent me to the furthest HEB in town just to be met with the exact same result and are now telling me to go an hour away to pick it up this time. I’m sure going an hour away instead of 30 minutes won’t possibly go wrong this time…

If I could give zero stars, I would. This pharmacy’s incompetence is absolutely unacceptable. You have a moral and professional obligation to get people’s prescriptions right—yet in the past week alone, you’ve messed up two of mine. In the past month? Three.
When I asked the female pharmacist how a prescription could possibly get lost in your system, she was shockingly rude. Then today, I picked up two parts of a three-part prescription—only to get home and realize the third part was missing. It never even showed up as “in progress.” Apparently, the pharmacist just shrugged and decided I didn’t need it instead of taking five minutes to check or place an order.
Scott admitted, “I guess they couldn’t find it before, but I have one in stock and just found it.” When I asked why it hadn’t been put “in progress” or ordered, he had no answer—just laughed when I said this pharmacy is a mess. The only reason I got my full prescription today was because I called ahead and told them I was two minutes away. Absolutely unacceptable.

I'm not going to go into grave detail I'm just going to say this to the first associate that I spoke to and have been speaking to you for the past two days up until the point where I spoke to the second one you are sweet and keep doing your job the way you've been doing it. To the second associate that I spoke to lose your attitude ,

Went today (Tuesday) to ask for a prescription transfer for my really sick wife that needed her medication (other pharmacy was out of stock).
Pharmacist asked me to wait 30 minutes to get it filled. When I came back, they said “sorry, we can’t fill it” with NO EXPLANATION why. Short answer: he was too lazy to call and transfer it.
ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MY TIME. Don’t go here.

Yet again, they have messed up a daisy chain prescription by refilling the meds for the wrong date. This is the third occasion I’ll be without time sensitive medication because their staff is incompetent. It’s honestly sad, because the rest of HEB seems to have it together. So if you have time sensitive meds, I would recommend somewhere else.

We recently switched to the HEB pharmacy from... a different pharmacy. Today was our first doctor visit since switching. As luck would have it, the doctor called in a prescription for an antibiotic; we made sure he used our new pharmacy. We had just made it home from his office when the phone rang; it was an automated call from HEB letting us know we had a scrip ready! Now, with the other pharmacy, we were used to having to wait until the next day for meds called in for us, especially this late in the day (4:30pm). I was pleasantly surprised, and I let the pharmacy manager know.Good job, HEB.

I was told my meds would be ready day of. As I just left the hospital and needed them. I explained that I needed them badly today and I live very far (the pharmacy in my town is not the best) so I still use this one. She said I'd get a phone call when it was ready but for sure it would be ready today. Just to wait for the phone call. I always get calls when I use them so I was like sure! We verified the number on file too. Well, I never got a call so I, like an idiot continued to wait. In my mind, they would call before closing like we talked about me needing it etc. So when I was tired of driving in town and really wanting to be home, I gave in and drove by. They were closed and I know I should have never waited for the phone call that never came now. As I will be making the hour trip to pick it up tomorrow now.

Jenna and crew always took care of us in dire times, even battled Express Scripts gremlins in our care. Well over a decade to brag about.

They're honestly just so rude here. Aren't helpful at all and act like they don't care about their job or you
