We recently switched to the HEB pharmacy from... a different pharmacy. Today was our first doctor visit since switching. As luck would have it, the doctor called in a prescription for an antibiotic; we made sure he used our new pharmacy.We had just made it home from his office when the phone rang; it was an automated call from HEB letting us know we had a scrip ready!Now, with the other pharmacy, we were used to having to wait until the next day for meds called in for us, especially this late in the day (4:30pm). I was pleasantly surprised, and I let the pharmacy manager know.Good job, HEB.

I was told my meds would be ready day of. As I just left the hospital and needed them. I explained that I needed them badly today and I live very far (the pharmacy in my town is not the best) so I still use this one. She said I'd get a phone call when it was ready but for sure it would be ready today. Just to wait for the phone call. I always get calls when I use them so I was like sure! We verified the number on file too. Well, I never got a call so I, like an idiot continued to wait. In my mind, they would call before closing like we talked about me needing it etc. So when I was tired of driving in town and really wanting to be home, I gave in and drove by. They were closed and I know I should have never waited for the phone call that never came now. As I will be making the hour trip to pick it up tomorrow now.

went to this location twice to pick up medication and the older lady at the window was extremely rude to me both times, and kept asking me who I was when I was literally telling her my name ?

My medication was picked up by another person, and/or the pharmacy incorrectly gave out a bottle with my personal information on it. I was told when I tried to pick it up that it had already been picked up and “they didn’t know what to tell me”. It took calling the non emergency police line to report fraud for them to start to attempt to do more. The medication is not a narcotic blood pressure medication so there was no reason to act as if I was lying. Rude and untrustworthy staff and management.

I want to acknowledge my man Cooper. He works at this HEB pharmacy, and he came through and really helped me when I brought a friend in for covid vaccine. He was so kind and non judgemental and made an uncomfortable situation so much better ?Cooper.

This is the pharmacy I usually go to for it's convenience of location. Though today my visit was made inconvenient. I was led on a goose chase for a claim number. Told to wait for them to find it, and lastly made a phone call to retrieve it. Up until I made the phone call I was made to wait over 2 hours. I was at the pharmacy at approximately 2 P.M and am just back home at 5:32 PM. When I asked the pharmacist attending me as to why I was made to wait so long for me to take make the phone call I was told, " we weren't waiting for the phone call we were waiting on the claim number and the insurance name". All of which was obtainable through the phone call. So I'm baffled why the need for the double speak?Why can't they be honest and say they made a mistake. They were busy so I get if they're mind is going everywhere though a little communication from the get go would've saved a lot of time for everyone involved. Thankfully I have my pain medication now and can finally rest.
