I used Kirk’s for my laundry and drycleaning (men’s shirts and jeans) for a couple of years and they did a good job. Then I noticed the quality going down. I asked about this and they told me they no longer did their own processing.The last straw was when they ruined my favorite shirt. I took the shirt back to them, not worn, still on the hanger and showed them. Nothing. Never could get an answer from them. They never offered to pay for the shirt.Now I use Briarcrest Cleaners.

They have a big sign saying they open at 9am on Saturdays, and a little sign saying 9:30am. Google Maps says 9am. At 9:30am they were still closed. Normally they give good service.

Generally pleasant to deal with and my clothing are clean and pressed when I get them back. Of course, they may not be open during their normal business hours for you to pick up your clothes…. Arrived at 5:45 PM on a Monday to find them closed though they are open until 6 PM. Leaving town this evening without my clothes.

I brought curtains and a duvet cover to Kirk's for alterations. The customer service was outstanding and very friendly! They always answered the phone with a positive attitude and also returned my phone calls. The seamstress did an outstanding job sewing additional fabric onto the curtains and cutting/altering the duvet cover to fit the insert. I am a very happy customer who will return to this business!Service: Alterations

I was told to come here by a friend.
I needed some alterations done I just moved to College Station and this place was across the street from where I live.
I had six pair of jeans that I need to shorten and very expensive designer jeans. I was willing to pay anything to have them shortened properly ..girl at the desk was extremely rude to me and told me that they didn't do alterations there and that I had to go to their main location but since it was already 1pm that it was too late and that I have to go back tomorrow! she was really rude and didn't seem to want my business so I'm going to take my very expensive jeans which I would have paid anything to have them shortened and go somewhere else... if they don't want my business I'm sure somebody else would.
I do not recommend this place. Bad attitude!
After moving here from Houston where people are a lot more friendly so far my opinion of college station is not good...

Customer service is TERRIBLE. I’ve stopped by to pick up clothes at 5:58pm, to be told that they were closed. (They close at 6pm). She just waved me off from inside the building pointing to the hours sign, which didn’t help her case, since they were, in fact, supposed to be open for 2 more minutes. Next trip, I picked up in the rain, where the same lady told me she wasn’t putting my clothes in the back (under the lift gate that keeps you dry) because she “wasn’t going to get wet,” and shoved my clothes at me through my driver door. Will not be back. So RUDE!

After destroying a button on my new pants and charging me to fix the button they smashed, not opening at ALL one weekend (needed clothes for meeting out of state on Monday), altering hours on the fly, I am done with ALL Kirk’s Cleaners in BCS. I called/texted the owners only to be ignored. Done

Dropped clothes off Friday, was told he could bring coupon when picked up. When picked up they said no coupon after service. He's cleaning was $80.00!! They were rude, rude, rude. Their prices are ridiculously high and customer service was BAD. WILL NOT RETURN THERE. Clothes were "cat faced" and not cleaned well.

Terrible Terrible Service. They do not deserve even one star.
Never use this Kirks Cleaners! Kirks Cleaners is the same one company with different locations where cleaning is done at one place.
I brought one of my favorite jacket with leather trim for dry cleaning. They said there is a chance that they cannot clean it so I told them please don't do it if they think they cannot clean it and just call me. Never got a call and went to pick up the jacket completely ruined!!! They just say it is a manufacture defect and they cannot do anything about it. How irresponsible!
Other than their terrible service, attitudes of a manager (I can give you the name if you want) and other employees were even worse. He hung up on me while I was talking and he told me that he is not even sorry at all because it is not his fault at all. When I told him there was no problem with dry cleaning at a different location, he now said that every dry cleaner has different technology, which means that the technology at Kirks Cleaners just sucks!
This is my very first review in my life because I do not want any other people to have the same terrible experience.
