I had a great experience! It seems like they are understaffed and over worked. But from my experience Matt was very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me the best foods to feed my cat and showed it to me in a fast manner.

Don't waste your time trying to buy fish here. The employee wouldn't sell a 1" algae eater because he said it required a minimum 100 gallon tank ! Not only a small sale lost today, but a larger future sale also.

Took my dog two times there in college station, love the freindness, would like his fur drier, when I pick him up .And for price thought I'd get a handkerchief for him?A little pricey, think they should ask you what grooming care you want for animal first .To make sure no communication issues.Would be better for customers .?

HERE ARE MY CONSUNPROFESSIONAL, START WITH YOU, BUT THATS WHERE IT ENDEDALEXIS WAS OUR GROOMER. SHE STARTED CHECKING US IN. HAD TO LOOK UP HIS VACCINATIONS, BY THEN SHE HAD STARTED ON ANOTHER DOG, WHEN WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR 9:30NO COMMUNICATION AALIYAH JUST LOOKED AT US LIKE A LOG ON A WALL, NO SMILE, NO HELLO, I GUESS WE WERE CLEARWHEN WE ARE TREATED LIKE THAT, AND WE ARE THE HUMANS, WE WERE DEFINITELY NOT LEAVING PUR FUR BABY THERE! I READ THE REVIEWS, AND THATS WHY WE CHOSE PETCO AND ALEXIS, BUT AFTER TODAY, WE WENT RIGHT TO PETSMART WHERE HE GOES TO THEIR CLINIC. THEY TOOK HIM IN WITH NO APPOINTMENT AFTER WE TOLD THEM WHAT WAS GOING ON, GOT HIS BATH AND GROOM, AND HE LOOKS FURBOLOUS,!! THANK YOU KELBI AND THE PETSMART GROOMING TEAM FOR MAKING OUR EXPERIENCE AND DAY GREAT!!! PETCO, YOU NEED TRAINING ON NOW TO CHECK IN YOUR CUSTOMERS, WE WERE PAYING 80!!!UPDATE. : IT WASN'T ALEXIS TO GROOM OUR FUR BABY, IT WAS AALIYAH, SO THAT MAKES IT EVEN WORSE THAT SHE DIDNT COMMUNICATE WITH US. ALEXIS REACHED OUT TO US BY TEXT, BUT IT FELT TO US LIKE THAT WAS THE REASON WHY NO ONE SAID ANYTHING, THEY WERE GIVING US TIME TO GET OUR PAPERS, THT ONLY TOOK LITERALLY A FEW MINUTES, WE WERE WAITING ON THEM, AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE, AALIYAH WAS OUR GROOMER, SHE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING TO US, NOTHING TO OUR PUP, ILL BE RIGHT WITH IU, ARE YOU READY? I visited Petco for the 1st time this past weekend to have my dog groomed and it was a beginning to end great experience. I called on Thursday, got in on that Saturday, the groomer did an awesome job, it only took a couple hours and after tax and a tip I got out of there for under $65! Happy pet and happy owner... LOL

No staff to help you, yall are selling cones for $19.99 when the vet sells them for $7 and the ones yall sell are EXTREMELY hard to put on, whereas the vet ones have velcro and super easy

There is no one around hardly to help you find anything. Also, at the register she asked if I was helped and I said no, then she didn't even acknowledge it. After, she said I would have to pay 10 cents to put my merchandise in a bag??? This is ridiculous! Also, your live turtles only have one light on them, they are supposed to have 1 UVA and UVB. Without it, your turtles will get sick. If you are now charging for plastic bags, then your company should definitely be able to afford it.

This store is always packed with boxes, rolling carts of boxes, it is difficult to navigate and always seems to be in a state of dis-array. When we moved to CS/Bryan in 2021 I thought the store was in the middle of renovations, but it has been this way for 2 years now. Please have them take store management classes from the Amarillo store location as they are worlds apart from the nice store in Amarillo we were used to. We normally shop at Petsmart now due to this store's a-bismal service and complete disorder, only stopping in if we happen to be at another store next door. Service is less than exceptional, and usually takes a while to get crickets if they even have them -- we have been rudely treated in the past when they were out of crickets. Sorry to say Petco in College Station is a last resort or only if extremely convenient.

Alexis did an AMAZING EXCELLENT job on our doodle. Chester has HIGH anxiety and can’t be caged . She worked with us and got him done and we picked him up IMMEDIATELY.

I was very disappointed with my pups grooming today. I dropped them off for a 11 appointment. 2 small pups under 7 lbs. I felt they were over priced for their service and upon getting them home noticed random hairs all over both of them. Their due claws hadn’t been trimmed and they hadn’t even washed their eyes and faces. When I dropped them off I told them I had a 2:00 appt. They said no problem. Well I missed my appointment and they weren’t finished until 2:45. I won’t return! So disappointed!

The staff was incredibly friendly! They were out of the specific item I went in for, but I got a smaller size and I really didn't mind - selling out is a good thing! My cashier was Diana and she was super friendly and had some fun facts about ferrets that made the checkout process really enjoyable while getting my ferret food. I went home and shared those facts around, I couldn't help it!

An employee by the name of Adrian was extremely helpful!! He took the time out to educate us as well as help us pick out some really good fish for our new tank! If you stop by ask for him! Very very highly recommended.
