I started working with Prosperity Bank about six months ago, and I have to say, this bank does an excellent job of taking care of their customers and meeting their needs—at least in my experience. I've had the pleasure of working with Shelley Valerius at the Southwest Parkway College Station branch. She is absolutely amazing—always willing and able to answer my questions. Thank you so much, Prosperity Bank, for the exceptional service!

If you like being lied to, being told one thing and then another just to be lied to again, then this is the bank for you! They refuse to stand behind the word of a bank officer. She lied to me 3 times. Should have taken the warning from day 1 when I caught her in a lie. Sure enough, months later after starting a new account when moving here I just got bold face lies to two other times. But these last two lies are punishing my wife who is invalid. I am her caregiver so everything is crucial to run like a smooth machine. Because she lied to me, TWICE, my wife is now having to wait before I can order her a new chair that she sleeps in. So she has some very hard nights coming up and no one there cares. Not one. Most pathetic heartless non caring complete lack of empathy place I've dealt with in a long time. Just lie as she wants to, doesn't have to back it up because she knows her manager won't make her hold to those lies. I highly recommend staying away from a place where the words they speak are empty and meaningless. This time, those lies affect my wife's health and well being. Now tell me, who does that and then just ignores the situation and allows the lies to continue without any reprocussion at all. Sickening to say the least.

Horrible bank, they freeze your card every time you leave town, regardless of being told multiple times of your trip. They take forever to process anything at the actual physical bank. They charge overdraft fees when there’s money in your account. And the app is almost always down. Don’t waste your time, bank somewhere else.

I’ve been a customer for 10 years & this is a great bank. Excellent service inside & out! I usually use the drive thru & they know me by name. I’ve had a personal loan that was quick & great rates.
My first job was a bank teller & this is the same great personal service I gave.

There is a little old lady named Helen she’s like 70 or 80 years old it took her 1 hour just to add my wife on my account ?she was sweet as pie but is too old to be a banker

I am tired of banks running roughshod over people. If someone writes me a personal check, don't gouge me at the counter with a fee. This is a terrible bank policy, and every bank doing it for personal checks should be reprimanded. People need to start standing up for themselves, not letting the banks rule us with our money. A bank is suppose to guarantee their customer's money in their holdings against the checks they write, not exploit who they write them too. I only give 2 stars for being pleasant while taking advantage of me.
