Really great place, friendly staff and clean. Nearby a shopping area if you need anything!Rooms: Clean and well-configured. Even had an ice maker in the freezer.Nearby activities: Near a shopping area and a few restaurants, if you want to walk.Safety: The shopping area is pretty busy, and feels safe. There's a major busy road and highway not too far away, and it's all well-lit and relatively quiet at night.

Wanted to work remotely during my stay and their internet was super slow to the point that I ended up using my mobile hotspot instead all the time!

Booked via points, walked in, and asked to extend my stay, and I was told, "I don't know if we can do that." - which is 100% valid. However, then the front desk then tells me to cancel my reservation and they can help, and then once the reservation was canceled via the IHG app, they say that there are no rooms available - costing me whatever I did have reserved for that day. Then proceeds to say there is no manager available to help with our situation, leaving me stranded

As a fan of the Staybridge brand, I must say I was disappointed with my recent experience at this specific location and cannot recommend it. The hotel shows signs of age, noticeable in details like the discolored power outlets and unclean baseboards.During our three-day stay in a unit on the second floor, we encountered small roaches in the sink and dishwasher area. Additionally, there was a persistent, unpleasant gas odor in the hallway that seeped under our door.Despite contacting the front desk about these issues, their response was lackluster. This visit has unfortunately been one of my least favorable experiences with Staybridge, and I have decided not to return to this location in the future.

Our stay didn't start off on a great note. The young man at the front desk couldn't be bothered to even turn down the volume on whatever he was viewing to check me in. It was so loud and distracting that I couldn't even hear him easily over the audio. The rooms were a little outdated with not much counter space to put our belongings. The lighting was quite dim, too. A refresh would do wonders for this place. Having said that, the bed was comfortable and we did get a good night's sleep with no disturbance. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and that area was well stocked and maintained. The upcharge for staying here, even with a reservation made months in advance, was nothing short of highway robbery. I spent 4x the number of points I would normally have been charged for a single night's stay. That's because I had the misfortune of needing the room for one night that happened to fall on a game weekend. Not only that, but my preferences were not honored.I definitely understand that it was a game weekend and there are people willing to pay the exorbitant upcharge to stay here. ( I did.) But for that, I would expect some actual customer service, not someone clearly just going through the motions.

A little older Staybridge property but kept in decent shape. Average room layout. Breakfast was good. You can walk to a few restaurants nearby.Love to have some brighter bulbs in the room. It's a decent stay.

Fall 2021- Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good, and happy hours throughout the week. Service is excellent at front desk. We stayed here with out pups for close to a week before moving to town. I recommend this hotel over any other town.

The room could have been a little cleaner. It was kinda musty. Employees a little stand-offish. But everyone has a different meaning to "hospitality." I think my expectations may be a little too high.

We had to switch rooms because the a/c wasn’t working properly. The manager acted inconvenienced and irritated that we chose to switch rooms rather than wait for him to try to fix it. We missed out on rest time before dinner since he made our move difficult. We heard traffic, room felt humid and bedding too warm for summer. There’s more , but …. Diamond status is of no value here. Won’t be back.

Hotels are like restaurants - it is "nice" to have pleasant service one is there for the meal, like one stays at a hotel for the room. Thus, although the service was pleasant, the location excellent, the check-in and out process efficient and the complimentary meals good - the rooms were only okay.Specifically, as we continue our slide into Soviet bloc standards, whereby only those who are wealthy and powerful can expect excellence, the rest of us rabble can expect a room in which I stayed - "good enough."This meant it had a pervasive mold smell, the toilet noisily ran all night, the windows were thin through which I listened to nightly drag races, and the glass shower door was dangerously broken at the bottom and allowed water to leak during showers. The complimentary breakfasts were more than adequate, and the complimentary evening meal such as the ubiquitous "taco Tuesday" was actually a pleasant and welcome touch.Really, there was nothing "great" about this hotel - only "okay" to "pretty good" if that is enough for you, comrade.Rooms: Not very good quality.I guess better than a Motel 6.Nearby activities: Very well situated for business, food and pleasureSafety: Safe, but a LOT of people going in and out, also, this hotel is in a very busy part of town.Walkability: Actually, rarely for an American city, very walkable...Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast and dinner is pretty great, actuallyNoteworthy details: It was okay, if that is the most you are seeking.

If I could leave a negative numerical number for my review I would. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, EVER! the rooms were disgusting. They had to move my family and I 3 times and still ended up with a disgusting room. Dirty towels from previous stay, socks from previous stay, a brown/residue in the tubs, dirty dishes, a shower curtain that was ripped hanging off the shower rod. Our experience ruined our quick trip to Santa’s Ranch. We waited almost 3 hours and my family and I were not even able to get ready after our road trip. I called and talked to a manager or acting manager and they would not refund our stay. I will be escalating this to corporate and sharing the photos I took of some of the rooms. Absolutely disgusting and should be reported to fine their business and shut it down until up to standard

The service here was phenomenal!.Everyone at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming.I feel like I'm talking to an old friend when I speak to miss Diane. In walking distance to the hotel is many wonderful shops and restaurants.Directly across from the hotel you will find1. Fish daddy's bar and grill.2.Texas road house.3.Cheddar's.4.Newks.5.Chipotle.6.Wings n more7 papa John'sPlus the stores, such as PetSmart, specs(liquor) eye lash studio, Carter's baby store, toy store, and a few stores for clothes.Rooms: The room was set up a little smaller than expected. (The one we had) but they do offer different set ups/rooms. Just depends on what's available.

I haven’t had a bad experience at a StayBridge Suites ever but I have never met an employee like “Kourtlen” either. His overall demeanor & vibe at check-in was refreshing after I finished a long day cycling (multi-day trip) I had a seam in my jersey that needed attention. Without hesitation, a complimentary sewing kit appeared & later lotion was waiting for me when I returned from dinner. Kourtlen seems to be an excellent part of this IHG-StayBridge Suites team. Thank you!

This has to be the worst hotel in college station. The mattresses are old, lumpy and hard! The carpet is filthy and smells very musky. The food is horrible. A lot of times the noise from the highway and other guests is unbearable. The younger girl that works at the front desk is constantly either watching a video on her phone or nowhere to be found. She is also very very unhelpful. This is not IHG quality and should be avoided. I will never stay here again.

Poor service - worst of any extended stay hotel that I have stayed at during travel during the past two years while traveling to go locums ICU work around the country:
- no trash pick up
- no towel delivery, they expect you to carry your dirty wet towel downstairs to pick up new ones
- kitchen faucet did not provide cold water , had to put in work order to have fixed the next day. Water came out warm to hot. I stayed in two separate units a month apart - I don’t get it?
- no ice trays and no functioning ice maker in units during my stay
- this was all in spite of sign posted on lobby check in desk about all one needed to was request lite touch service. I did during each of my stays and they don’t stand by their promises.
I have stayed at other STAYBRIDGE suites in other cities providing far better service. Local owners here need to put more of their profits into hiring adequate staff to service their hotel. The hotel seemed well occupied. I called the front desk to complain and one of their other other responses was that they would. Not service rooms on weekends, the staff that was there was only there to turnaround rooms for new customers . Their sign doesn’t state that .
I will be writing their corporate office. Again other branches of STAYBRIDGE provide excellent service and the individuals I encountered here were personable but unable to change local franchise practices.
